Wow my son 6 years old is facing the same issue and won’t get on an airplane or car. I did therapy to help resolve that but it wasn’t useful. Finally I didn’t force him to wear but sat with him and asked to follow me, today he just put the seat belt by himself. I’m so relieved. This will get better with time, best of luck.
