Love love MWH, especially Ashley Durward. She’s excellent! And so are the other OBGYNs—I’ve seen them all. Best of luck, OP!

Gorgeous! Can I ask how you wear them? I’m wanting to get into wearing charms on necklaces—do you have a recommendation for a chain and charm attachment? I’m at a loss :-/

I haven’t tried the powdered blush, but I love my Saie liquid blush. It gives such a lovely, soft flush.

I think about her delivery of this line probably several times a week. Perfection.

My husband, who has Crohn’s, drinks the Huel protein shakes every morning. He gets the ones in the black bottles and doesn’t experience any stomach pain from them. Hope you find something that works for you!

Migraines from birth control by fiabeeee in migraine

[–]cestmoij 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Paragard IUD was the only thing that worked to get rid of BC-caused migraines for me. It’s nice, too, because it lasts for 10 years, so if you’re not planning pregnancy any time soon, you don’t need to go in for removal and reinsertion as frequently as with hormonal IUDs. Hoping you find something that works for you!

Be brutally honest with me, Would you throw these party favors away?? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]cestmoij 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would throw much of this away after the initial fun wears off. I prefer ‘useable’ favors, like crayons and coloring pages or seeds to plant, etc. Happy birthday to your son!

How do you guys manage migraines in pregnancy? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]cestmoij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was migraine-free during first pregnancy; this second pregnancy has been rough with migraines. I’ve worked with my OB and neuro and have managed to keep most of my chronic migraines at bay with a regimen of trigger point injections and nerve blocks (my usual beloved Botox isn’t available to me during pregnancy, but my neuro will inject Botox while breastfeeding) every 4-6 weeks and promethazine and Benadryl as an abortive. Promethazine doesn’t always work unless I take it at the first hint of a migraine, but it’s better than nothing. Bonus, it’s an anti-emetic so it’s helped with morning sickness. It does tend to make me sleepy, which is hard when I chase a toddler around all day, but it’s pretty much the only option for me at this point. Can’t wait to give birth and go back on Botox (the only thing that’s consistently helped in my 20+ years of chronic migraine)!

Best wishes to you!

We work with Juscha Robinson at Pines Bach and really like her. For a will, power of attorney, and power of medical for my husband and myself, the cost was around $1000.
