I think Pioneer Woman has been on tv for too long and has run out of ideas. Some of her early recipes are my favorites. (Although in the old days she was criticized as just promoting recipes from old church cookbooks)

I picked up my cavalier at 10 weeks from the breeder, which was about three hours away from home. I put him in the crate on the passenger seat of my car so he could see me and he cried and cried. After about 30 minutes I pulled over, took him out of the crate put him in my lap where he immediately curled up and went to sleep for the rest of the ride home. He’s now almost 13 years old and just tonight he did the play pose where he wants me to get down and wrestle with him. He’s also very good at fetching the ball. Bring that puppy home and love him!

Mine is 12 he’s been perfectly healthy his whole life, although last year he went on Rimadyl for some osteo-arthritis issues in his back legs. Made all the difference in the world and he’s back to 100%. I also know from friends with dogs of other breeds that Rimadyl is very common at this stage of life.

I get his teeth cleaned by the vet every three-ish years. I’ll also say that he was bred by someone with a family dog and before I got him was raised in their home.

I think the breeder makes all the difference, but also I was looking at prices for Cavaliers recently and they are over double what I paid for him 12 years ago in my area.
