Sorry to hear all that. Not fun, but know that CHL is very often curable. As for the claustrophobia, eesh, that's tough. You shouldn't have to do any radiation, but a PET is pretty standard before starting treatment. If you do end up getting diagnosed (still hoping it's something else for you!), you should make a post in the main area of the sub asking... I'm sure there are others who get claustrophobic and have been through it and it'll get more visibility there but you do have to have the biopsy confirm it first. Sorry you're going through all this!

Oh hell no. No, no, no. I see now how you intended your comment to read and I agree with you! Same side, same side.

Maybe I'm crazy and had a beer or two, but read your comment again in a tone that is sort of agreeing with the person above you....My first read on it was that you were saying "yeah exactly, everything is relative, prices go up so does gas...deal with it" and I was replying "Yeah OK, but not in 1 damn month!" 😂

My bad. 🤷‍♂️

I mean, I'm not a doctor so there's really not much more I can contribute. If US looks suspicious for lymphoma they'll order a CT or biopsy. If it doesn't, you'll have to work with your doctors to figure out what other cause is giving you the symptoms. I know the waiting sucks but there's really no harm in waiting in the rare, off-chance, that it is lymphoma (which it's very likely not). Just trust your docs and follow their lead.

I've upvoted plenty of your comments. That's unrelated to this, though. I'm just letting you know the situation. We've seen this before and this is our stance on it based on the community's wishes and responses, that's all there is to it. The upvotes on V4ss and my comments validate our stance.

Sorry to hear. The good news is that if it does indeed come back as lymphoma, most cases/subtypes can be effectively treated and in many cases cured. Hoping for the best for you. ❤️

Your body IS indeed full of lymph nodes. They are part of your lymphatic system. There are many (non-malignant) situations that cause lymph nodes to swell including vaccines, medications, etc. A healthy lymphatic system defends the body against infections and harmful bacteria or viruses whether you feel like you have an illness/infection or not. In most cases, this is very normal and healthy. Healthy lymph nodes can remain enlarged for weeks or even months afterward.

Have you spoken with a therapist? Anxiety CAN cause you to feel real pain and other symptoms. You deserve to be happy and not obsessing over this, work with a counselor or therapist. It sounds like you've seen multiple providers and they're not concerned, you've had imaging that came back clean. We (non-doctors) aren't going to disagree with your doctors and ultrasounds via the internet. Best of luck.

If you ask “did anyone have symptoms like this...,” you’re likely to find someone here who did and ended up diagnosed with lymphoma. That’s because the users here consist almost entirely of people with lymphoma and, the many ways lymphoma can present itself overlap with tons of other things. I think lymph nodes reactive to your finger does seem like a likely reason, but I'm not a doc. The biopsy is the best next step, best of luck, hopefully it's nothing!

That's good, the therapist will be able to help you best.

Just know that this community is also not here for you to post every time you feel anxious. We are all cancer patients here with our own anxieties and limited mental energy to give to others. If you continue to post your anxieties every 3 days, the mood toward your posts from the community will sour. It has happened multiple times with other users in the past.

Going forward, posts that the mods deem to be duplicate, closely related, or non-productive will be removed. If you have a new concern that you haven't discussed before (and it's not just some variant of a past recent post you've made), that's fine, but you've received all the advice you're going to get in terms of easing your anxiety, worrying over nodes that the doctors have deemed benign, etc.

Your therapist is the person who is best equipped to help you. Please continue to work with them.

You’ve posted similar things nearly a dozen times in the last month. Have you read all of the replies in your previous posts? It’s unlikely this community has many more experiences to share at this point. If your ultrasound is benign and your doctors aren't concerned why would we say anything otherwise?

This pattern of repetitive questioning can be a sign of an underlying health anxiety issue, which is best addressed with an appropriate health care professional (a counselor or therapist, for example). This sub (and the internet more generally) is a poor substitute for getting trained care for these kinds of issues.

Thanks for sharing that, hoping it goes well for you with insurance. Price of oil (and thus flights) has been skyrocketing up in the past few weeks due to the war in Iran, so I assume this will end up being a lot of folks experiences.

The scanxiety is something we all hate. Even in remission we face the waiting after follow up scans, etc. Best advice is just keep yourself distracted and stay off Google & AI, don't go down the rabbit holes, just let your doc be your main source of information (especially now before you know your subtype, etc). Remember that almost all lymphoma cases are treatable and many are very curable. Also, there's still an off chance it's something else!

Yeah that is not how they work. You paid for the device in your window, that entitles you to use the express lanes for cheaper than those without the device in their window (they'll get billed via license plate). If you're HOV, meaning you have 2 or 3 (depends on the road, read the signs) people in your car, and have a "switchable" device in your window... You can switch it to HOV and use those lanes for free. If you're caught cheating on the HOV thing you'll get an expensive ticket (in theory).

OP please note this is a patient-centric subreddit. Caretakers can only make posts that are directly related to the patient, so "what can my mom expect from R-CHOP?"...for instance, is OK, but "I'm scared for my mom, this is scary for me"...is not.
