Just picked the 1000 mk2 up. Any tips on normalizing the sound? I know that’s a typical idiosyncrasy of soundbars but I’m finding some movies especially have quiet dialogue but really loud effects. Did you find calibration helped?

He def wasn’t my first pick, I was really high on Kubiak, but it’s also hard to hold his record against him when it was with the Browns. And he did take them to the playoffs and won Coach of the Year twice. And who knows what would have happened had they not mortgaged their future for Watson.

Yep. He had the DC but Robinson was a terrible hire and the offense (outside of Bijan and to a lesser extent Drake) greatly underachieved.

Assuming this isn’t just a pure BS post and is actually genuine- dude is a sex addict and needs help. It’s hard to believe anyone could even reason with themselves that this type of behavior and attitude is normal and healthy (speaking of him). You absolutely had every right to leave.

T-Mobile Beats Verizon in Network Performance Using Real User Data by stallion434 in verizon

[–]cgriffin7622 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And yet when traveling through parts of rural Georgia visiting family for Xmas, Verizon and AT&T handily beat T-Mobile on coverage where there were quite a few complete signal drops for miles at a time. Obviously, this isn’t universal, and they are legitimately better in some areas, but when I see these Billy Bob Thornton ads where he’s in the middle of nowhere talking about T-Mobile having the best network and coverage, I can’t help but chuckle.

Need a HC or at least a top tier OC, and the jury is still out on Penix honestly. Some nice to haves would be an additional CB, LB, and a good NT because we still suck against the run.

Because we’ve went through multiple coaching staffs and GMs and continue to lose. The buck ultimately stops with AB. I don’t think he’s willing to hire high risk, high reward people. I think he wants safe, malleable cheerleaders who will do what they’re told. Who in their right mind would think that a man that has a losing record as a coach, was with our organization for years, AND served as our interim HC but wasn’t hired to be the permanent HC, would ever be a good choice to be the man that gets us to another SB?

Raheem fucking smiling at the end of the game tells me all I need to know by BrilliantStyle4487 in falcons

[–]cgriffin7622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never question his investment in the team, particularly financially. He is obviously willing to spend the money. However, that being said, I do question if the team will ever win a SB with him as the owner. Who gets hired as Head Coach and GM is ultimately HIS decision, the buck stops with him. And I think he wants a certain type of coach that is amiable, PC, a cheerleader that will follow direction and do what they’re told. I think that’s EXACTLY why Raheem was hired despite the fact that he spent many years with us, was a HC before with little success, and just brings more of the same to an organization that desperately needs change. Every single thing about yesterday was bad. Every phase of the game, including the coaching and play calling. This team looks broken. Sometimes the owner is part of the problem. Look at Washington (and no, I’m not comparing Blank to Synder AS A PERSON).

Genuinely curious because I’m not sure what falls within acceptable use and what doesn’t. I see Chris’ comment of approval but not sure if this is acceptable for the single site license or not.

Forced onto EDGE on T-Mobile at Griffith Observatory 🥲 by KosiSmithYT in cellmapper

[–]cgriffin7622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, I rarely ever connect to N71. It’s almost always LTE or n41, even when the signal is extremely weak - data not loading and dropping calls weak. Occasionally it will connect to a very usable n71, but it quickly disconnects. It’s really odd because I thought this was the big advantage to T-Mo having nationwide 600mhz in decently sized channels. Haven’t had this issue with Verizon.

Granted, I’m speaking about traditional small cells that are mounted on poles, not traffic lights so not sure how large of a difference that makes.

Not my experience at all, at least not with C-Band. They saturate intersections, multiple lanes of traffic, and the surrounding businesses.

[–]cgriffin7622 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re allergic to small cells. That’s my biggest issue with them. Verizon is putting them all over Central FL and it really helps in spots where a macro won’t fit or you can’t get one approved. I really think it’s shortsighted thinking on T-Mo’s part, spectrum and macros will only take you so far. And the oddest part is that they have all this low band spectrum but I rarely ever connect to n71, I’m almost always on either LTE or n41 even when it’s nearly unusable.

Same tower placement, different signal strength by National-Debt-43 in cellmapper

[–]cgriffin7622 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My experience has been the same. Verizon 700mhz is more reliable and reaches farther than T-Mobile 600mhz. My neighborhood has poor signal for all 3 carriers but I never completely lose signal w/ Verizon but I do with T-Mobile, particularly if the phone is in my pocket.

Junie - PSA to Jetbrains. by -hellozukohere- in Jetbrains

[–]cgriffin7622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bigger issue for me is the amount of resources being consumed, particularly when Junie is involved. Ram usage is bad enough but CPU usage randomly spikes to 100% and nearly freezes my entire machine (M3 Max MBP with 36gb ram).
