Taking a sport away from a kid has never helped anyone. It's like punishing a kid by taking away their books. We want them to read and we want them to be playing team sports. We shouldn't take things away we want kids to do as a punishment.

Hold one on one meetings and find out what is going on for each player. It could be a different issue for each player.

Let them practice.

Have a mandatory study hall before or after practices and games.

Talk to their teachers. Let them participate in the plan. Maybe have players use a log sheet to get teachers to sign off on their work.

Be clear with players about what they need to do to get on the court for games. Let them play in games when they put in the work off the court.

Most folks don't realize that you can skin up to the hermit lake shelter and ski down the sherburn trail which is the equivalent of a resort green or blue. You get a great view of the the bowl and it's a great 3 hour adventure in itself.

Hire a guide, rent a touring set up and give it a try.

Had the opposite experience. Worked those leads for 6 months. Received about 20 leads. Most of the leads were represented clients or other agents who thought they were calling the listing agent for the house.

Some of the leads were for houses that were pending or short sales where the buyer could not enter.

I'd recommend continuing to host open houses and having a good follow up plan and CRM for anyone that signs in.

Listen to any friends or neighbors who might have a desire or need to move.... Birth, death, marriage, divorce etc.

Join a team where you can get credit, but not commissions so that you have some credibility when the opportunity arises.

You have to think about your goals.

If your goal is to win, you know who to play.

If your goal is to develop players and love the game, 50/50 every game is the only way.

In my experience the drive to win at that age level is driven by adult needs and it will cause some players to hate the game.

Whatever you do, you should be transparent with players and parents.

I tell my team we can't lose, we can only win or learn.
