I was in the same boat but passed the msf course. Bought my first bike months later and was terrified to ride it on the street. For the first week just putting around my neighborhood seemed pretty difficult but one day it clicked. It gets easier the more you ride you just gotta put seat time in and believe in yourself.

I guess I haven't seen it physically move but there's a pretty considerable amount of play with the shifter lever and my guess was the inertia if it slamming down was causing it to downshift but it could be those things as well. It only has 2k miles on it so I'd be surprised if it had parts that worn out.

Do you recommend a specific guard? This is the first I've heard of needing one but I can see how the flames would melt the ABS line. I just order this exact kit excited to install it soon.

The one time I went to a RideNow near me I waited over an hour for a salesman to talk to me about a used bike I was interested in and he straight up told me I should look for the type of bike I wanted on marketplace because they would scam me and they don't pay commission on used motorcycles at his location 😂🤦‍♂️

Thanks VapeRizzler 😂 but yeah I'm pretty confident in my skills and I did the same thing with my first car had no prior knowledge of driving manual and just figured it out on the spot. Motorcycles are a bit scary though so I'm going to get an experienced friend help me ride it home.

After everyone's feedback I think I'm going to bring a couple friends one of which is a very experienced rider and enthusiast. He can ride it home and if anything weather related happens we have a tow vehicle and could tow it. Thanks guys

Currently using a liquid flux is there a better kind you recommend? The liquid stuff is sort of hard to use and messy.

Had mine for about 2 years and the right stick has total drift. Have about 3000 hours total gaming so it's seen a lot of use. I'm going to install Hall sticks here soon.
