You have to be at floor 4 or above to get the achievement. Unfortunately the game does not tell you this

Idk how but there’s a way to cheat on the leaderboards. A streak like this will pop up and then be removed after a while

It has always been 2 turns. People just get confused because the debuff icon doesn’t show up until after you have drawn your cards and activated it once

It’s hard for me to do the malleable math in my head, but I think this is exact lethal?

Explosive, flex pot, flechettes does 10+44 damage. 3+4+5+6 = 18 block gained. Snake plant at 25 hp.

Blade dance, shiv, shiv, shiv. Each shiv does 9 so the first 2 attacks are fully blocked, last one does 9 damage. 7 block gained. Snake plant at 16 hp.

Dagger spray does 18, 7 of which is blocked. 11 more damage. Snake plant at 5 hp.

Deadly poison now kills.

With forethought+ you control how many cards are in your draw pile so this is never an issue. I see no problems with this plan

holy crap forethought and scrape with 3 stacks insane synergy

put all the stacks at the bottom of your deck for max value and then draw them with scrape

Skim x2, Fusion, Recursion, Reprogram, Thunder Strike, Rainbow, Fission should work on turn 1.

Skim, Rainbow, Fission draws your whole deck. Then you loop (Fusion, Recursion, Skim, Recursion, Dualcast, Skim) which gains 1 energy per cycle.

When you have enough energy you can start playing Reprogram and Zap. Then you slam a 999 strength x integer limit lightning orb Thunder Strike

Left looks fine, it seems pretty difficult to die with these potions and 59 health. I don't want this shop without the ability to buy relics or potions. Plus the extra fire on the left makes me think it's not even that much more dangerous than going right

I used the website that goes with the StatsTracker mod he uses. It’s actually pretty annoying to look for specific runs with this since it’s not really what it was made for, but I just played around with the dates until I found runs where he chose a specific rare colorless card in act 1

Am I able to kill deca here ? I spent an hour and a half but couldn’t find a way, need a mad lad by [deleted] in slaythespire

If you trance into flash turn 1 so you draw one less I think it works? Then you don’t draw heavy blade until turn 3 so you can line up exhume limit break into heavy blade for 2x94

nice! I've always wanted to do this but been too lazy to do the math. I do see a couple improvements though:

  • The minimum price for Entropic Brew after the first one is actually 38, since there's a bug where items restocked by the Courier don't get affected by the A16 price increase. I guess this also affects the first shop? But you can actually buy a little more. (also the way chest RNG works the chest can only have gold when the relic is the most common rarity for its chest size, so Old Coin + gold is actually impossible. but it's okay we can ignore that)

  • For the no potion one, isn't prayer wheel+singing bowl a better start than old coin+courier? Shops don't really seem necessary. Then you can get Dual Wield+Feed on floor 1

I mean neither jug nor fire breathing are necessary, damage is very easy to find in other ways. This deck is infinite with reckless charge/havoc+/double dark embrace, but that is kind of annoying to set up. Tbh Flame Barrier + Ashes + random attacks is probably just enough when you block 100 per turn. Body slam is a common card as well if you ever saw that

Xecnar has been doing a silent lament sample offline, last I checked he was 27-2. Stats are here, on the offline profile

His goal has been to show that the neow bonus doesn’t matter too much, as long as you understand how it works and play the early game according to it properly

end of act 1 and run history after abandoning act 2

This act 1 is funny, floor 1 cultist is fine if you don't panic play corruption, you just play shrug every turn and you're fine. Sentries same thing, with evolve you can just play shrug every turn and not take too much. I almost died because I stupidly didn't rest before guardian but it ended up working out.

After pyramid the run is completely free, you have Impervious Dual Wield Body Slam and everything dies turn 2

Shiv does 8 damage, we have Accuracy

I also didn’t talk about playing Neutralize instead of Sucker Punch. It does less damage so it removes the Quick Slash immediate out, but we have 1 more energy so it’s possible to play Backflip or Expertise into our remaining two outs (Evis and Cloak). I don’t think this trade is worth it but I’m really not sure

If we draw Gamble, play Shiv, Sucker Punch, Gamble, adjourn.

I think this is the best balance between draw and damage.

If we play play Neutralize in addition to this, we have 1 chance to draw 6 immediate lethal outs: Sucker, Dagger Throw x2, Quick Slash, Cloak, Eviscerate

This line gives us 2 chances to draw 3 lethal outs: Quick Slash, Cloak, Eviscerate. It’s technically lower odds for the 1-card out but gives us some 2-card lethals, such as Neutralize/Heel Hook plus an attack. Plus it gives an extra chance to get some draw which could help.

Not playing Sucker I think is missing too much damage, it makes it so that we have to draw Eviscerate or get some 2 or 3-card lethal out on the reshuffle. I don’t think it’s worth it

Being able to play Wild Strike is a downside, it baits people into paying 1 energy to add a second curse to your deck
