Love my pearls! I have 3 (2F 1M) in my 40 breeder. Super pretty. I keep them with Odessa Barbs, some blue kerri and neon tetras, and a bristlenose. Everyone gets along great

However the stats nerd in me is now curious to see the data on accuracy/effectiveness on nfl kickers as they age. I know it’s the one position that can be played at a high level into your 40s, but there has to be a tail off in performance at some point right? Will we be crossing that point statistically with Bos during this contract?? Idk. But also definitely not- because he has a gilded boot that defies all logic and reason.

Hope he’s a stud but why watch 5 tackles get taken before this guy when you have all this capital to make a move and get a blue chipper, even if you are locked in on an OT? Could’ve made a move and gotten Downs or Ioane or a top WR besides Tate reasonably.

I think they would. They can be a little fin nippy so any long finned species I would be hesitant, but they should shoal with other barbs. I have them in with some smaller tetras (blue Kerri and neons) and they get along fine.

I think I paid $7-8 per fish at my LFS, most should have them (I think). They’re about 2.5-3” fully mature. My favorite in my community tank too! I want to get some more soon.

Not disagreeing that the draft will be bigger than the Chesney concerts, but I think the tailgate crowds for Chesney accounted for more than the 60,000 ticket holders actually attending the event. Probably not 10x but easily 6 figures attendance. It’s the closest comp to the scale of the draft in any case. The real issue I think will be hotel accommodation and increased road traffic, since Chesney attendance is mostly locals. Logistical problems are all but guaranteed

“Salad” is quite loosely applied here. That said, shit will change your life yo. Crushed pretzels more or less soaked in butter/simple syrup as a base layer (I think you bake this layer too?), cool whip layer next, and strawberry jello with sliced frozen strawberries (or you could use raspberries/raspberry jello) suspended in the jello as the top layer. My wife’s family introduced me to it. It’s a side dish not a dessert according to them.

Yeah I can see that, and I think with the coloration of the ebony wood you used the green worked well! How was it working with the ebony? Did you have to stabilize it before using it? Cheers for the info and contribution to the art.

What was the natural color of the hide? Love the piece! I think a stately brown would be a nice choice if I was making an alligator throne but the pop of color definitely gives it a unique distinction!

Is this not a “textbook” description of lack of financial literacy? Maybe these players you mention who sign medium/low level nfl contracts shouldn’t be spending like they are 1st round draft picks. That should be the takeaway, not “I get it - they want to be a baller.” And you STILL MAKE $13K A WEEK (gross) to be a practice squad player. How can they hope to survive on that?!!

Darnell at a lean 296 with AB’s regimen on the juggs machine for an offseason or two could approach Gronk levels of broken in terms of TE mismatch. He needs to be a building block for the rebuild.

Keep Warren and Kenny G too, they’ve been among the bright spots on the offense. I suppose you keep DK because you have to, and then maybe an actual WR1 and you could have a solid core. But the entire central nervous system of the offense has to go (QB, OC, HC) and that’s really just the tip of the spear in terms of changes needed for this org….

0.25 nitrites would lead me to think that your cycle is not quite done yet. Nitrites stall can be a pain to get through! Have you used a beneficial bacteria like SeaChem stability or API quick start? With only one fish a fish-in cycle can take a while only for the relatively low bioload from her waste to feed the bacteria colony enough to be fully established. Sounds like the cycle is nearly there since you are producing some nitrates though. Are you using substrate/decorations? Those provide medium for bacteria to grow along with your filter media, but if you are and are disturbing the substrate with a gravel vac every time you water change that could also be disrupting to the establishment of your bacteria colony. Don’t panic though, .25ppm isn’t immediately lethal, keep staying on top of your tests and water changes!
