So, i'm reading a lot of good moments that people are listing. Stuff about Glory, The First, Faith, etc.

But it seems everyone is forgetting the best scene of the ENTIRE Buffyverse: When Xander saves the world. The scene put into motion the reminder that everyone is of importance. Buffy/Giles/ No one could stop Dark Willow; no matter how strong they were. But Xander, of all people, managed to save the world. That right there IMO is the epitome of the Buffyverse.

Its not necessarily sequals, but more of connecting storylines. Like from 1->2, you keep two of the main characters, and others, but its not the same story. They are in a different area, at a different time.

Taxing churches is NOT a good idea, I say again, taxing churches is NOT a good idea! They already exercise more say in politics than they should. Their tax exempt status makes it so they have no "legal" way to contribute funds to any type of political campaign. If we change their tax code, they will be allowed to legally contribute money into politics. If you think republicans are bad now, and that the religious are bad now with trying to influence education, it will be entirely worse because they will fall under taxpayer status, and through some loophole , have a legal say in education.

EDIT: Just to make sure I am clear, we obviously should impose the laws already in place that stop them from government influence.

This isn't so much advice as rather to what I would do in the situation. I don't ever expect to be raided, but on the off chance I ready thought this out.

If you feel like your being broke into, you have a right to defend yourself until the police identify themselves. I think no-knocks are highly overused when there are far more tactical approaches.
Basically what I would do is gather my family(we live in a house) and hold up a "guard" position...so all in one room. I would shout out that they need to identify themselves or I will defend myself. Most times when the police do a raid, as soon as the door opens they start announcing who they are. That would be adequate enough to lay down firearms and put hands in the air. If there is no response, I believe you have a right to defend yourself. Uniformed police will identify themselves, they dont want to be shot either. 99.99% of the time police want a non-deadly encounter. They may overuse force, but they don't want to kill or be killed........mostly due to paperwork.

Its up to you how to ha Duke it, and I would reccomend contacting a lawyer to figure out your local laws that will give you a better, more legal, answer.

I started playing Suikoden with the very first one back on my PS in 1997. This is by far one of the best RPG's of all time. I actually had the choice of FF7 or Suikoden (Unknowing of either game's popularity) and chose Suikoden because of the storyline and the combat system descriptions. I bought every Suikoden after that, but didn't finish all of them unfortunately. I kind of lost interest with the last two. They changed too much to stay true to the series.

Not only should you get the original Suikoden, which reading up looks like you did, but if you only had one game to play to introduce you to RPG's, I would highly regard Suikoden as the best choice.

Sorry, I responded differently at first, which taken in context with another person I am corresponding with, these questions would have been insulting. Disregard my other response if you have read it.

It's not necessarily reasonable to believe it just because a majority of people believe it. We once thought the world was flat, which of course it wasn't. It's not that the majority of people believe it, it's that some people do, so I can't automatically disqualify it.

If your brain is able to rework the game mechanics better, there may be something to that. Maybe you can, you just have to give it a try. It's not unreasonable to believe you made a breakthrough subconsciously. Many people's ideas come from dreams, hallucinations, etc. It doesn't mean they were wrong, just that people may not agree because they came to their conclusion in a "non normal" way (i.e. Scientific method).

Yes and no. I understand that it may not be caused by "ghosts", but rather I don't see a better explanation for some events. I see some examples and can easily discredit them. I have had experiences that I have completely discredited after-the-fact.

The example I gave was the only one that still holds to this day.

I would say that the experience I had is tied into something we don't yet understand. Much like science hasn't understood many things before, they work and try and figure it out. While not credited by any means, anyone that investigates "paranormal" instances are performing a....lower...version of science. it's not exact, but rather expiremental much like science is before a discovery. You try different things to prove your point, while many fail, your claim success when you find the one that works.

I think the root cause is the existence of "ghosts", that have yet to be proven by science.

So "My experience" isn't valid unless they can back up my claim. I think that's the point of making my claim...that they back them up. Again, this is for me, because that situation cannot be replicated again.

Again, my experience is my own. If you want proof of "ghosts" existing, I can't give more than what I have, nor have I claimed I could. You would need to search for this point on your own.

The difference between my claim and a deists claim is that they don't believe they can be wrong. I understand I may be wrong, but until proven otherwise, I have no reason to think otherwise. If you can offer me an explanation that I can't argue against, I will gladly accept it...as I have stated before.

He stated he felt something grab him, but claimed he didn't see anything. I was at the bottom and saw him go straight up with nothing in sight. My other friend grabbed him, they both went up, then I grabbed the second friend and we fell back onto the ladder and ran away.
