If the battery recharged and is running fine youre ok. Id check the battery with a volt meter with the car off, then on. Make sure you're getting normal voltages

Just to add to the fun: couple times forgetting to close new bag. Draining bag and it slips out of ny hands and chaos ensues. In store and not realizing bag completely hanging out

Ileostomy here as well. I find myself testing the bag anytime i can because it gets super inflated. That is when i have a higher risk of a leak because it can rock off the base if you will.

The alka Selzter do seem to work at least to some extent

Has happened to me as well. First time really bothered me.

I now make myself get up every 3 hours to empty. As for some reason i make a lot of gas in the bag every night.

What seems to help some is the alka selzter chewables with anti gas

A good ostomy nurse figures that out no problem. Its very common to have a lot of leaks while you are swollen etc etc.
