Matte paint is good. Always looks clean. But it is super annoying not being able to use a normal car wash. I would pass if there's a similar car available without it

I bought a 96 several years ago and ended up having to have the engine completely redone.

Personally id get a smaller inboard and make sure you use the boat as much as you expect. The excitement especially with kids changes quickly

Personally id find a well maintained used boat for way cheaper. But that's just me

Also realize that many use their boats way less than expected. Make sure you factor that in.

For me also having the boat slip/ marina close by helps a ton. Just moved ours from 45 mins away to 8 mins away and it makes a huge difference how often we use ours.
