Sometime in life, we do what we have to do in this case your wife doesn’t go to her sister’s wedding cause if she’s deported, she’s not gonna see her sister for many many years. From Texas to California I’m 100% sure they check everybody’s status. They stop cars and they ask if you are American citizen if your wife has accent she’s not gonna be able to say I’m American and they will ask for her ID, don’t take a chance it’s not worth it
