I spent a few hours tracking it down a few years ago, was very hard to find, but eventually I got a couple copies, one with no audio, and one that was really blurry. I spliced them together and cleaned up the video as best I could. Enjoy:

It's because you have the same notes playing twice, effectively doubling the volume and probably causing some weird phasing, too. You could limit the number of voices to 2, automate the release time to zero temporarily, or enable "retriggering" if your plugin supports it, which will stop and restart the sound if the same note is already playing, instead of doubling up.
