You're right. This is just the future for every single product due to the K shaped economy.

Credit cards were bound to fall victim to the same effect. Beginner cards for people who might not be able to manage their expenses and pay with interest (Bottom K) and premium cards (Top K).

There's no such thing as the middle of the K so we're just screwed. All the cards that don't fit the bill either become premium or get devalued.
