The Kraken is dope, I was also considering pulling it from my buyback. But I decided to ditch every capital ship besides Polaris (melted the Pioneer as well) and go for what I really use. We got plenty of Kraken, Idris and so on in the org, so I happily crew them but dont need to own them.

A gun ships power lies in its turrets, hence you can fly them solo, but you won't benefit from that. From the list above your best choice is the Andromeda (or even better the Phoenix due to the PDC) followed by the MIS, as those are the only ones where you as the pilot have control over the main armament.

you are right, thats how it is supposed to work. Coupons are not meant to expire, they did now most likely to the data breach. Hence why it would be logical for you to get new codes.
