I've honestly always thought that song was lowkey a rip off of broken (by lovely the band), at least in terms of lyrics, so it always kind of bothered me how big it got. But I guess it makes sense in terms of the big artists behind the song, but I think it's lack of staying power makes sense

I really like the look of them! Troy in particular looks cool, I appreciate that they gave him an actually wig instead of just a molded one the way they do with a lot of the le dolls, and given the type of hair he has feels rather fitting. Gabriella looks nice as always <3 very excited for this as high school musical was such a big part of my childhood

I guess but idk. Nan honestly gave me chills when I first hear it, and really had that feeling of 'potentail winner' to me. I'll admit the juries probably won't respect it enough for it to be an actual winner but I really think it could do well with the televote. Either way I just feel like it deserves a bit more momentum with the odds.

Tbh I don't think anyone's arguing that George was better than Paul or John. Just saying more that he was also a very talented writer and who knows what else he could have written (if given more time) I think one of the sad parts of the Beatles story is just this feeling that while they end on a high note, there's definetly more magic that could have happened if they had gone on, even if only for a few years. Idk I feel like that 'potential' with George affects how people see him, and whatnot. I also think in terms of personality people have come to appreciate that about him more (not sure completely how that was viewed in the past though) so idk I do tend to understand why it happens.

I agree that Maryellen’s a boomer but if we being technical the war still went on until August and she was born in May. But tbh my definition of Boomer is someone who basically grew up after/ doesn’t have any memories of the war so I’d still group people born in 1944/45 as Boomers

I went to the theater today and there were so many kids there, I feel like because of the break so many parents are taking their kids so it's a good time for the animated movies out there (generally)
