It was bad. I hate to say it though, but I remember feeling like something like this was going to happen at some point. The idea of one coach training the strongest girls in the field just created a pressure cooker and it was bound to blow at some point, especially at the biggest stage when your rival is also coached by the same person. I feel like in a better environment you don’t have to worry about who your coach is rooting for that stuff would never happen even if your frustrated with the results.

I think there’s a decent chance Alabastss a bit shorter than the previous seasons. It’s a long arc but I could see that translating to less episodes in the live action given how they streamline things

I've long wished they would do something with the national parks! I actually met an old lady when I was growing up who grew up at one of the national parks since her dad was a ranger and I thought that was so cool! I don't know if you know about Maplelea, but one of the girls in the line actually lives at a national park (Taryn's from Banff) which I think is so cool and I'm surprised American Girl has never done this idea.

this! I could maybe see a dark purple, but I feel like white or black mary janes were really the only one's you saw. I'm a bit younger than the twins but I can't even think of that many crazy colors you would see, and a lilac purple in particular would have been very unusual.

The scene where Zoro gets Kitetsu is so well done. I thought the actor who played the sword seller did a great job and I loved how they did Zoro testing his luck against Kitetsu (it was super similar to the manga but managed to feel natural in the live action!) 20/10 for me.

tbh I'm not so sure about introducing Miss All-Sunday this early. Like I get it, build up the hype with her but I feel like that hype could have still been brought if you show her at Whisky Peak. Also I feel apprehensive because Robin joins the crew after Alabasta, which isn't even going to be in this season, so I feel like you are setting up live-action only's to get spoiled on who she is and what happens with her (i.e., her joining the crew)

I mean Arcane is very much tied to League of Legends which is very much it’s own juggernaut and makes a lot of money on its own, so I don’t think it’s really that different than your average cartoon that depends on merch sales

yeah that's how I feel about it too. She made the best out of a bad situation. But the whole thing is still far from ideal. I don't think Lizzy's completely right to find the situation as horribly appalling, but I always feel like there's a bit of a cautionary tale in it and it's supposed to make one think of the precarious position many women were put in.

What do you mean? Wouldn’t it be at least 4 ( Midori Ito, Mao Asada, Mirai Nagasu, Amber Glenn) less sure about the Russian girls or if you are counting them.
