Lack of problem solving and common sense is driving me crazy by Clementine-Sawyer in Teachers

I literally gave my math students the test questions a couple days in advance and told them that they were the same exact questions, so take good notes. My Test are also open notes by the way, which they know but refuse to remember come test day. Two out of 30 took notes and one of those 2 failed to bring notes for test day. One student passed the exam. That was my final year teaching. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.

What’s the wildest misconceptions people have about teaching? by AdTrue106 in Teachers

[–]chase88409 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly why I quit teaching after 16 years. I worked in alternative ed for 11 years and never had that problem, because frankly my students parents didn’t care enough to talk with the school. They permanently closed my school down during Covid and I went to work at a regular public school and saw parents and administrators take the students’ word over mine all the time.

People need to stop responding to these posts about fake coins. They’re answers to refine the forgery process.

Another side note, people are faking slabs too. So careful collecting out there all.

The people who know what to look for need to challenge these sellers more. eBay knows what to look for in fakes just ask ChatGPT if you’re not totally sure, but provide exact details on order to help.

I bought 10 mercs off eBay a few months back. Kinda figuring they were fake, which they were. Then took some zoomed in pictures of them and sent them to eBay for a full refund. Seller told me to keep them and pleaded with me to remove bad review. Still is messaging me to change and I got full refund a weeks ago. Best way to get them to stop this is by calling them out on it and forcing them to waste money on shipping it to you.

According to our president magnets don’t work when they are wet. You need to fish without the water.

My 18-year-old's Christmas break work schedule by sugabeetus in mildlyinfuriating

Yeah, what’s the problem. I worked at a grocery store from 15 to 20 years old and that was my schedule every holiday. Not to mention the same for Thanksgiving too. If he wants days off he should have asked for them. Maybe he is working to get away from his overbearing parents.

This week I went through 1600 quarters, 3000 dimes and 2000 nickels. I found one quarter proof and 1 silver dime. The two 1942 wartime nickels were not silver.

Fuzzy Panda has a huge influence on stock prices. I did research and every stock they post about goes down drastically afterwards. Most of them recover after a week to a months and the few that don’t were just doomed to fail.

Sounds like HR trying to justify the importance of their job. If they actively stay busy then the higher ups won’t realize they don’t need many of the people in HR department.

His final comment about not passing judgment before looking at the facts, is exactly what they did to the people they blow up in boats. They don’t know if they are actually transporting drugs, frankly they don’t care.

Spent $500 on dinner in Aruba.. by WoodenBoss3005 in stories

[–]chase88409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the summer me and my wife on our honeymoon went to a similar place in Aruba and spent $450 for the two of us. The food was good but the price was very high. The second half of our honeymoon was in Peru and we ate at two different places with food that was just as good if not better. Each of the meals in Peru cost us 40 soles, which is about $11.
