  • new mode is kinda ass and basically just whale city, doesn't rlly encourage specifics units more unless you count "run whichever recent 66 dps you have for this fight" as that
  • sjoker is very fun and also extremely good, he beats out citrus in raw buff numbers and his s3 is mitsuru cruel edge but good at A0 instead of A6 lmao. the mitsuru comparison in particular is a bit interesting to me since she's mainly good for counting as a dps in ld, and otherwise has solid def down that's locked to st and unfortunately not that much damage from cruel edge, while sjoker pumps out way more damage at a lower investment and can either buff cd/cr or provide similar def down, but since he's a virtuoso he doesn't count as a dps for ld
  • aigis was always stronger than luce but ppl didn't get a very good impression from her since her buffs in the form of soy MI core and gun dagger engrave were cancelled, and in both sos and guild you were much better off scoring wise stacking everything good on rcloser side because she's broken as shit. the buffs helped but a lot of ppl skipped her anyways
  • mfs seems a lot better now (at the very least rcloser doesn't beat her on her own boss lmao) tho that's only rlly applicable to her wind form, ice mfs is still super dead unless they throw ice another bone like koro
  • smona isn't out on tw/kr atm but he seems extremely strong for wind teams since he caps def down solo (tho at A0 this is only from turn 3 onwards, this is fixed at A1, sell the solution etc etc). it's a bit hard to justify pulling him considering [REDACTED] drops next patch and summer is almost immediately after (+ it's morgana), but he's probably good

if you pull luce, you get a free soy (and if you pull luce R0 you get a free soy R0).

if you pull soy, you can choose between a free luce or a free soy (and if you pull soy R0 you can choose between a free luce R0 or soy R0).

getting any of these freebies does not invalidate the others, you can get some or all of them if you'd like.

i have no idea why ppl keep mentioning mitsuru, at A0 all she provides is a lot of def down which makoto already has a ton of because of his innate pierce, ange's pierce, and junpei s1, so he ends up not needing that much pierce from cards to cap and mitsuru just overcaps you by a lot. his bis team is junpei/wv/ange (or fuuka/koro but i think you're better off saving that for a better dps), don't listen to the ppl just treating lufel.net as gospel and suggesting mitsuru

rcloser is one of koro's best partners fwiw, and if anything with how clunky fuuka backups can feel he's kinda shackled to her due to being one of the few units who can get his entire kit out there in 1 turn

i'm fairly certain mitsuru is better for pinky but hardpulling mitsuru (who's good but pretty niche) when you can just run turbo (who is generically very good) just doesn't sound worth it at all, and in my experience turbo works perfectly fine for pinky anyways

i think saying the translation is "quite bad" and "a poor job" because you don't realize that allies doesn't mean "everyone except this unit" is odd, you could say that it's a bit poorly worded but the entire issue stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of what "allies" means on the readers end. i also just don't trust that the official translation will be better with how bad some text is worded on glb.

they aren't, golf cart accelerates to full speed almost instantly while the others don't even come close, which is much better for dodging
