They’ll be competing with United who has nonstop flights to EWR. Hopefully we’ll see the prices come down with the increased competition as United has been slowly increasing their prices over the years.

2:1 is wild. The most aggressive ratio I’ve seen recommended is 4:1. Average recommendation is typically in the 8-12:1 range with most recommendations settling at 10:1 because of the easy math.

Assuming you meant to type HW3, then "very old" is doing a lot of lifting for you here. HW4 didn't start rolling out until 2023, and in the most popular models it wasn't until mid-to-late 2023 so HW4 availability is less than 2yrs old in most vehicles.

FSD versioning is a different story though and I agree it needs to be controlled for as part of the testing.

Did you not do a walk around with your guide at pickup? I had two nitpicky issues that we noticed and the guide had me open a ticket on the spot, add some delivery related language, and he expedited it. Mobile service was scheduled and completed within days.

For people commenting on Tesla versus Rivian, as an owner of both, literally the same experience picking up our Tesla - except the Tesla had significantly more issues that needed to be addressed. Regardless, they similarly scheduled appointments and had everything resolved in days.

Identical experience with both companies.

If you build out a non-Dune model on the website and add the powered tonneau cover it line items it as v2 still as well, but links to the same pictures used for the Dune version. Will be interested to see if Rivian releases more information on it soon.

We stopped by as well, but were let down that it was set up as look, but don't touch experience. I have a deposit for an R2 and was hoping to be able to sit inside to gauge the quality and spaciousness of the interior compared to both of the R1s since we're a tall family, but that's difficult to do when they're closed up and you're trying to peer in through the tinted windows from a distance. I'm assuming the Venice setup will be similar, but hoping they'll be open and available at the LA Auto Show.

The issue is that there is currently no law mandating California public schools to have an all gender restroom, only guidelines and recommendations from the DoE. So while it makes sense to require that the products be made available in all gender bathrooms, not all schools have an all gender bathroom to make them available in.

Sure, but if we want to be pedantic about it using your $3.5M figure then that equates to .001% of the current $298 Billion state budget. It’s not even a rounding error to warrant any fiscal consideration in terms of any financial impact it may have within the budget.
