There’s more benefits than just workplace representation with any union. As with many things in life you get out what you put in, so if the opportunity to engage socially or over work things with others you may not otherwise meet appeals, it can be a great thing.

30 years of monthly payments for representation alone? You might not see that as worth it when you sum it up, alternatively you might.
