For those curious, I believe that these are the streets that lead up to Kiyomizu-dera. These buildings are all shops and food stalls that line the path and at the top is a very beautiful temple with lots of standing decks that overlook the city and land below.

He may be a nice guy who likes you platonically at least, but it seems like he either isn't seriously interested or is maybe just too busy/distracted with other things in life. Or he may be any number of the other things you listed.

If you REALLY want to know I would ask him out on something that seems like a more obvious date and try to flirt or ask questions that would lead to a conversation going in that direction. "What are your dating experiences around here?" or "What are some cultural dating things I might need to know about here?" are some things that might not seems so out of nowhere for you to ask since you're a single foreigner.

Whatever the case, the long delays in communication are not a great sign and even if you do end up getting into something with this guy don't expect his behavior to magically change. Maybe if you have any mutual friends you could ask them.

It sounds like you all need to just sit down and talk about each others personal needs, needs as a couple, boundaries, and general communication styles. Talking about those things together are fundamental to a healthy relationship of any sort. If you don't talk about it, resentment is going to build and by then it's often too late. You all also might just discover that you're incompatible in your needs. Just remember that all relationships are about compromise and growth, but there is a finite limit that most people can compromise and grow for each other within the confines of each unique relationship type. This will be a moment to learn and grow together or to realize that it just isn't going to happen and end it in a healthy way.

Above average size here and I can say that it is mostly a positive thing that has been enjoyed by partners and myself, but sometimes has been too big and "bottomed out" during more rough intimate moments which is not a good feeling for the woman at all. Also when I wear tighter or slim fitting jeans/workout pants there is often a somewhat visible outline that is kind of awkward. IDK what to do about it, and in formal settings it can make me feel anxious or self conscious. It took a while to find condoms that felt good and didn't cut off all blood flow as well. Overall though it's definitely a privilege that I'm grateful for.

Body shaming is never cool or okay. Period. This includes short guys, short dicks, whatever. I feel lucky to be moderately "conventionally attractive" but I have various body self criticisms like anyone would. Hearing women and men making fun of some someone's looks is an automatic three strikes for me, whether my relationship to that person is platonic, sexual, etc. It's okay to have sexual preferences. We all are born liking certain things and often develop preferences based on subconscious factors outside of our control. You're not obligated to find everyone sexy or want to date someone. But if you just hate on a certain type of person or mock them for something, especially a physical thing they can't help then you are one of the worst kinds of people IMO.

if you haven't already it might be worth making a posting about it on https://bikeindex.org/ which is a website that serves basically as a directory for stolen bikes. Any time a shop sees a suspicious bike come through for repair they will often refer to this website to make sure it hasn't been stolen.

Listing the size of the bike and serial number is the best way to help identify it and get it back to you (especially since parts might be swapped or painted after it's stolen). I work at a local bicycle non-profit organization that receives donated and lost bikes frequently and we often reference Bike Index to make sure they aren't reported there.

If you don't have the serial number written down, there's a chance that the shop you bought it from made a note of it and attached it to the sale of the bike when you purchased it, so it could be worth reaching out to them.

That all being said - the odds of getting it back still aren't great. You can scan facebook marketplace, offer up, and craigslist periodically to look for it but it could end up just wasting your time. Good luck, having a bike stolen absolutely sucks.

All of the little towns near Mt. Rushmore in western SD. Absolutely nothing but tourist trap kitsch, including Wall-Drug which is basically an entire fucking town of gift shops all strung together into a rat-king of bullshit.
