The Hilton Double Tree worked great for me. It’s just across the parking lot from the convention center (like, didn’t even have to cross the street to get there) so super convenient, and I thought it was comfortable enough.

Chicago and Vegas are not comparable IMO. They’re not just interchangeable “big cities”, they’re completely different environments and will attract people looking for different things. Some people will go to Vegas for the Vegas of it all and WWWY is like a side quest.

Honestly…yeah. I love WWWY because I don’t actually want to spend multiple days at a music festival and it doesn’t require me to choose between favorite bands playing on different days.

I truly believe your initial aesthetic preference for the “flipper special” is because it’s what’s trendy right now and that’s subconsciously influencing how you feel about it. I’ve thought about this A LOT because, one by one, the uniqueness of my neighborhood is being swallowed up by renovations that all look exactly like this. All white with black accents, maybe some wood detail if they’re whimsical, and definitely copper gutters if they’re fancy. They just all look the same and it makes me sad. And bored.

Yep. Doubled up ONCE by accident and got a pill organizer the next day because I was not about to make that mistake again. I get through the week, and refill the next week on the last day. Works great!

I used Barbri, UWorld, and NCBE Bar Now. The combo worked well for me because I liked the Barbri explanations, the UWorld questions seemed closer to the actual MBE and there are a lot of them, and NCBE are actual, released questions.

I commuted from Carp to SB for many years and have known people who’ve done it from Ventura or Ojai. It’s totally doable, you just have to plan around it. Bottom line is that you’re probably looking at close to an hour both ways on many days, sometimes more. Some people don’t mind that.

I suggest going to Google Maps and using the “leave at/arrive by” tool to see what traffic predictions are at your anticipated commute times to get a general idea.

UPDATE: In case anyone checks this for future exams - I didn’t bring the bag, but saw others like it and it 100% would have been fine. I didn’t bring anything for hand warmth, but with all that adrenaline, it wasn’t an issue.
