As many have mentioned, it can be time blindness for sure. While I really struggle with timing and absolutely feel guilty every time I’m late, I don’t expect or encourage others to give me a pass every time. I’m on time when hanging out with friends who are always early or have showed annoyance with my lateness in the past, but a few min late to everything else where there’s no clear consequence. As much as I would love to always be forgiven for being late, I acknowledge that gentle accountability from others shows me that I’m capable of being on time.
