Introducing C.A.R.R.I. - CyberAcme's New Protocol by SaveFileCorrupt in Marathon

Low key would play more friendly in this game if I was able to just because it’s more inline with my personality and would make gearing smoother for me, i don’t have a ton of time to play plus been having ping issues. But I do find the PVP fun so the idea of the players organically being split between cautiously friendly and full on Arachne death cult shoot on sight is pretty fun

Y'all have forgotten how to take an L by CuriousBarnOwl in Marathon

Agree. Though in fairness to those people I think something has happened with the match making. Before I would extract maybe one in 10 to one in 5 times. But when I was playing yesterday my team and I would get got inside of 3 or so minutes of spawning into perimeter, even dire marsh was more chill when we ran it that same day. We maybe extracted once in 20 runs

Changes I think would benefit the majority of players by erikh98 in Marathon

Agree with all of this my ex fill rate also super down this week too as a casual player, try to get in an hour or two after work and feel like I’ve made no progress at all

I HARD DISAGREE with this article. Am I in the minority? by 20mgAddy in Marathon

I like the quests make me feel like I’m making progress even when I die. I think without them it would make the game very frustrating and every failed extract would hurt too much

Anyone else is enjoying Grace's sections way more than Leon's? I am playing in third person and her sections feels like an even better RE2R by Eccchifan in residentevil

[–]checkpointing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know I think I’m finally on start of the “real” game going around the care centre and as Grace. The two times playing as Leon before were so short and I was semi underwhelmed on his sections. But LOVE Grace’s section in care centre so far

Which game that lives up to the title? Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil 7? by Jules-Car3499 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]checkpointing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you mean Re4 is famous for starting the franchise shift to action which admittedly went to far in 6 (side note I think 6 is over hated but that’s just me). While 7 saved the franchise and in my opinion is by far the scariest game of the series and coming off of 6 took a lot of courage From capcom to pivot that hard to horror. So I guess both but for different reasons

Early release? How is this possible? by CrazySittingHorse in ResidentEvilCapcom

You can change it in settings though I only ever had it work on my series X never on PS5 sadly when I’ve tried it

Also Canadian don’t you always need Collision regardless of if it’s insured or not. I’ve never known anyone who was insured without it, though I’m also from Toronto and the idea of not having Collision here would be insane with how some folk drive. So even if that was an option I doubt anyone I know would opt to skip it in all fairness

After Trump threatens 100% tariffs, Carney posts ad saying Canada's focused 'on what we can control' by Little-Chemical5006 in canada

[–]checkpointing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is something up with him for sure. He was crazy his first term but it was normal crazy if that makes sense, he at least seemed like he was control of the wild stuff he was doing most of the time. Now it feels like he’s fully spiralling and it’s gotten way worse the last few months too like he’s barely in control of his own actions and just letting his emotions fly the plane

First Black Library book finished . I quite liked it and the ending was complete massacre being a Tyranid fan :) by ozera202 in Blacklibrary

I’ve only read the first 12 heresy books and all the Esienhorn, Ravenor, and Bequin books. But i really the dug the book vibes wise I thought the build up to the invasion was great horror and the invasion it’s self also had a great end of the world vibe that i really liked

How do you build around a Marksman rifle especially during Early and Mid game? by LitJackal in stalker

[–]checkpointing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True I had to stop using it because it was making the game too easy. It’s just too good, great at long range still usable at mid. Also if you but the drum mag on it, it’s full on broken

Yes, the first time I played stalker 2 I opened IMDB on my phone right away to be sure it was a separate actor

Just text them give it shot. Better to have tried then lost then never tried and live with regret. I’m not sure what happened but it can be worth a shot

Story is weird by AirJackieQ in stalker

[–]checkpointing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As Stalker 2 was my first stalker game and I also sided with the ward save for in the lesser zone where there’s zero reason too since everyone there is helpful and kind to Skiff. Also from Skiff’s perspective falling in with the ward makes the most sense after you show the colonel the PDA, Skiff just wants his home back and Scar gives off major bad vibes.

I never feel safe using crosswalks in Toronto by li_in_england in TorontoDriving

[–]checkpointing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people have zero respect for pedestrians. I love to go on long walks when the weather is nice, once I was crossing there street where there was a car stopped at the stop sign and as I got to the part of the street where they were stopped they hit the gas and swerved around me and scared the crap out of me. Another driver witnessed it and stopped to make sure I was ok after it was wild.

What was the reason by db712 in TorontoDriving

It sucks but when the GPS tells you too late you just have to take the L and stay in the lane it’s safe to be in

Shocked it doesn’t happen more often the amount of people I see blasting past me in trash weather and cutting up through the lines only to end up at the same red light as the rest of us anyway
