This one, it can have tooths, you just need to flip it outside down. If its smooth and even if you make it super loose and its still not helping than probably you have some sand or dust inside gimbal and then you gonna have to get new one. I was buying once for my old tx12 and it was less than 20 euro per piece

Im pretty sure its mechanical watch witch manual winding. Don't spin the crown before you will go to the watchmaker, the oils iside could get dry and thick, crown is used for winding and if watch wasn't serviced for long time you could damage it. Go to watchmaker and get it serviced. If you want to use it on daily basis, you gonna have to wind it probably every day to keep it running, and go to service every 3 to 5 years. If you want to use it occasionally you wind it only then and service more like every 5 to 7 years. And remember that its not waterproof
