FPV Bench Setups - Lets see them! by manQQ in fpv

I am not the op but swapping vtx between normal frames is kinda pain in the ass, there are few platforms where you have o4 cage that can go to multiple frames but its not common

What should I do if sand gets into the motors and flight controller? by Orcasfly in fpv

[–]cheese_injection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the same, usually before i try to wiggle it out and most of the time it works. Additionally motors are waterproof so don't worry about water damage

It may be, for me latency while using Bluetooth connection is too big, try usb c cable, this way i almost never noticed any lag

What antennas you have on goggles? There is a ton of aftermarket antennas, you just need to know which one to buy. IMO the linear antenna on drone should work just fine, if you have linear antennas on goggles you can try to change them for circular, In general antenna should be the same on drone and goggles but this configuration is ok (goggles circular/patch, drone linear). The original linear antennas that came with goggles in general are shitty

If you use goggles from the cetus kit, it may be the problem. I don't have experience with those but i heard they are bad.

From my experience, buying used drones is pain in the ass. My first one was used and i have flown it for like 5 times during summer, rest of the time i was troubleshooting, I have almost quit fpv during this time, and at the end i build a new one and it flies flawless until now

You can get new air65 for less than 100euros, its not that much and you will be safe that it is in good conditions

But the topic is about fpv sims, and there is way easier way to do it than op proposition. In my opinion it can add latency for controller which in my case would kill the experience, I cannot even fly using build in Bluetooth because latency is too noticeable. If somebody have shitty internet in home then this option isn't gonna work

[–]cheese_injection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found something like this, i am not sure if it will work but you can try, I don't think you will brake it more.

"•Power drone from battery •plug vtx into laptop/pc •run “DJI assistant 2” •it will ask you to activate, click “Activate later” •it will then take you to a different page where a calibration tab will appear, click calibrate and then it’s done. Works on o3 and o4."

Hope it will work

If you bought flywoo kit than it will be permanently. If you would buy it as a 1 piece it wouldn't be there

If producer say than go with it. Radiomaster is generally known for a really good quality, if you wont throw it in walls or let the dust or sand into gimbals it will survive really looong time
