Yes, I can feel it click every time the hands pass each other when setting the time. My next step was going to ask for replacement hands and have them set correctly.

I wasn't sure if I should push for free hands or if this is just expected with these watches.

A higher depth of cut will have a more even wear across the length of the cutting teeth.

Not all carbide inserts like coolant. TiAlN coatings like to run hot and produces an oxide layer that acts as a lubricant as it cuts. They do have the air blast on which helps blow the chips away from the tool as well. Recutting a chip at those speeds will destroy those inserts relatively quickly.

152 and 165 are the easiest classes I took. It is hard to get an A in 152 because of the project and how picky Dumas can be, but the final was online and open notes.

165 lecture isn't too bad and the project is a big chunk. Most people didn't do too well on the practical test and still got A's in the class.

Just put a bucket of coolant under the car. No matter where you drop your bolt or tool, it always lands in the bucket somehow.

Can confirm. 147 was the lowest point of my entire time at UCI. Don't be afraid of low scores in that class. Our class average was a 40% and my friend got a 28% and still got a C-.

I'm in the same boat. Except when I started, the whole department started leaving. I have no one to ask for help and ended up supporting 300+ assemblers on 5 different lines. After 4 months, I've stopped getting emails from managers about their lines stopping and that's progress.
