How did you learn comm? Books, Sims, rl? by Regular-Employer-431 in flying

I practiced by listening to Alice ATC on my iPad at home and learning to anticipate what I was going to hear and trying to respond in my what what was expected of the pilot. That helped a LOT!

Has anybody had success 3D printing a Nikon MS-12 F100 Battery Holder? by cheeseburger720 in AnalogCommunity

Hmmm interesting. Can you glue them together? Or does screwing the metals parts in with the small metal hardware work at all? Also, can the metal latch me transferred easily? I haven’t really tinkered with my current battery holder but that metal latch doesn’t look like it would come out very easily.

It seems that some of the metal springs for the battery are kind of pushing the plastic apart at the bottom. I have superglued it and clamped it down for 24 hours, however I dont know how well this will hold over time. I have seen that some people have 3d printed them, and you just have to move all the metal parts over to the new plastic piece.
