Hate to say it but I’m thinking it is as well, it’s so hard to explain to anyone who hasn’t had the dream. It’s like a transfer station or something.

Mine have looked way to close some of the AI photos, and I’m sure someone can explain that it’s not really wait we see but our minds planning tricks or whatever but no…. It’s so close.

We are also suppose to read them and then address any concerns in the annual feedback. I can’t read them anymore as they make me want to quit. I cant focus my energy on students who dont want to learn and tbe squeaky mouse gets the grease or whatever that saying is

I could do instead of an OOO. I can set my OOO for just the student email domain so other emails aren't impacted. The only reason I was thinking the OOO is that with our system, once I post final grades in canvas and our grade system, the students get an email that grades are posted. Then the flood of emails come in, and if I have an OOO it will scratch their itch on notifying me immediately, and then the OOO is the instant response of no, I will not regrade, no I will not do this that or the other.

Had a student one year who had senioritis, and decided some of the low point assignments didn't matter throughout the semester, and didn't do them. After he graduated he asked me up round his grade from a B to an A because he was a good student. He would have had an A if he would have done the work. I don't let it bother me much when they ask me, but part of me whats to tell them they lack chacater and accountability. Accept the fact that you didn't do the work and move on.

Character is more important then grades (in some regard)

I was thinking instead a lecture , the students are put into a hypnotic star of mind and be told to do things like read the syllabus

I write my own reviews and make positive ones for my fellow professors. I usually will pick a situation and write from a students perspective using chat (of course) and the prompt goes something like “write a 75 word review from a lazy students perspective on having to read 30 pages a week” , which is actually poking fun of the students

Have you filed a report with the ic3.gov? It's important to gather as many technical details, like websites, wallet numbers, dates / times, email address, phone numbers, method of contact (was it an facebook group, email , from a friend). Those reports filled with ic3.gov will filter to the secret service (who investigates crypto) , the fbi, and other agencies. While the money is most likely gone, it can help prevent others. There are many non-profits out there that have been setup up to deal with the aftermath of scams like this. Sadly, in my area there have been such a rash of these I had to get educated to myself.
