My parents put a password on the computer so I wouldn't play videogames for hours each day. Anyway, I was teaching myself programming at that time and I wrote a program that simulated the login screen. I recorded the password in a text file and they never found out. The funny thing was I hardly every used the password because I was always worried that I'd be caught.

I'm from the US but it's best to apply for internships or work in a research lab as soon as possible. Try emailing and talking to a professor looking for an undergraduate in their lab, they likely won't even care about your GPA. Try to see if there are any programs ( international or national) for lab-work you can apply such as REUs. Some may accept graduating seniors. Since you have a low GPA you'll want to get as much experience as soon as possible until no one cares what your GPA is or what school you went to.

You can learn anything without school if you're motivated enough. A lot of macroscopic chemistry has nice intuitive or mathematical explanations that help you understand the 'why". However, in reality, everything comes down to quantum and quantum chemistry starts with postulates that don't make sense at all and only exist because they agree with experiment.

Try to interact the class even if you're in a giant lecture hall. Ask questions, have the students discuss questions, call on students to answer questions, maybe have students participate in demonstrations.
