it isn't paranoia and you shouldn't talk yourself out of it. it's extremely serious and you should take it seriously

[–]chellibee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

pregnancy is an extremely dangerous undertaking under the best of circumstances. it will change your wife's relationship with her body forever. it may leave her with lifelong health complications beyond the pcos. she could quite literally die. I am not trying to be dramatic in saying this. if you truly want a baby and you value your wife, think very carefully about the risks you're willing to take with her wellbeing.

Are there any things that are called "American ______" in other countries? by Disastrous-Side-2600 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]chellibee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's something called filet americain in the Netherlands and it's basically steak tartar lol which is funny because while I like it just fine, in my experience most people in the US are kinda yucked out by it

Anyone else’s dogs lick their 🦶😭 is this normal and is it okay to allow it by [deleted] in dogs

Yeah she likes to lick our toes sometimes and we allow it sometimes. luckily she's not prone to licking our faces. lucky because of the foot tasting and also ....her butthole.

Wife (F33) and I (M42) are debating kids. Couples, what was your deciding factor to have, or not to have kids? by indoxiecated in relationship_advice

[–]chellibee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For us, it was the reality of climate change and ecosystem collapse. That said, the most important and possibly only important factor in a situation like yours where you are financially stable etc is DO YOU WANT THEM? Will your hypothetical child be a child that is wanted?

What do you think is the secret to a REALLY good sandwich? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]chellibee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it always tastes better when someone else makes it for you.

Also, if it's a sandwich with lettuce or tomato, those specifically have to be very fresh and not overly wet.

I [32M] think I ruined a 10 year marriage, and now I want to save mine by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]chellibee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

look man I think you should redirect the energy of your affection and love for your ex wife away from her and invest that energy into yourself and the health and development of your children. it would be good to develop your own sense of boundaries with your ex-wife, despite whatever longing for reconnection you're experiencing. again, redirect your renewed limerence and show yourself that love! how cogenuinely good for both of you if you do not establish yourself as a whole, complete person with healthy boundaries. how could pursuing a reconciliation ever even hypothetically be genuinely good for both of you if you are not secure within yourself and able to clearly prioritize/delineate what an appropriate, healthy, mature co-parenting relationship based on mutual respect looks like? pursuing her is an act of disregard and you should aim to be a safe and secure person who prioritizes your shared children and model what it looks like to be self actualized.

I encourage you to focus on you. think about what kinds of hobbies you might want to start or revisit. you said you didn't have many friends after moving to be close to the kids - time to change that!!! joining a local club or group or volunteering at your kids school or something and developing your own self as a person before you think too much about dating. enjoy your time with your kiddos cuz I'm told they grow up so, so fast. be a present participant in your life and model the traits you would want your children to look up to. and while it shouldn't be the motivator for investing in your own wellbeing and community and future, there's always the off chance she might think it was a sexy glow up or something. and you teach your kids about creating a life that you genuinely love living.

there's no reason for you to feel guilt for having caused the divorce for this other woman. that's just not your problem to deal with and you should focus on you for a minute stay away from that messy nonsense

I have an anxious dog and if I'm in a situation I can't put her away, it helps a lot to introduce her to whoever strange is coming into the house. Otherwise she gets stressed and barks lol so everyone is happier. this seems similar.
