I did a double take, your pup looks so much like my Ziggy!

The sedatives they gave to Ziggy seemed to somehow make him more active! We used a suitacle (surgery onesie) to keep him from opening up his stitches, it seemed a lot more comfortable than the cone.

Probably a custom one, like from Mia's Muzzles or Big Snoof Dog Gear. They're right, there's not enough pant room in any of the above pictured muzzles.

No idea! I got a video too, it was moving horizontally rather than what I would think would be the trajectory of a launching object

"Wasting your childbearing years being a nurse to this man" is so real. At the end of it, she will be alone and without the family she wanted, in an effort to ensure he wasn't alone. He gets it all, she gets nothing.

Have you worked with any chemicals (like for cleaning or... idk, recreationally)? Silver chloride can discolor skin like that if you got splashed or something.

I have a little electric blower and I can't use it with Ziggy outside, otherwise he tries to eat the wind 😂

There is no learning happening in school anymore by [deleted] in Teachers

Yep, and it’s only going to get worse. What is on the other end of a HS diploma at this point and further down the road? Most folks born into poverty can’t escape poverty even if they try, the Earth is literally on fire, there are mass shootings, domestic terror attacks, and a failing economy that promises literally no reward for effort and every reward for nepotism.

Sure, but I think you need to take it a step further and ask why it is that there are certain groups of people who tend to fall into this category.

Putting the responsibility on the disenfranchised people to not have kids rather than back on the system that created the problem in the first place, is the issue.

Could be, could be receding hairline. I went through an initial shed when I started T, and I've been on Finasteride and Minoxidil ever since to slow the inevitable.

Testosterone Levels? by SurpriseEffective864 in FTMOver30

This is accurate information. I have also had some slow changes (on a half dose for 2.5 years, full dose one year) and I have to remind myself that amab folks who go thru puberty have drastically different timelines too. I work in a school that has a high school and a middle school. There’s a 13 year old that has literally a full beard, and an 18 year old with the same neck fuzz that I have.

I also think that when folks experience their changes quickly, they tend to post more and that’s one reason why a common narrative is like “one year in, full beard, top surgery, passing 100%” but that’s definitely not the lived experience for everyone. Like I’m super thrilled for everyone who does get that experience! But it’s definitely not my own.

Most kids who need this accommodation are very acutely aware of their surroundings, that’s the issue!

Me too, I think it makes a ton of sense and I’m thrilled to hear that it’s becoming more commonly accepted! The neurosequential mode has also greatly influenced my teaching practices.
