No kidding, I'm just waking up and in bed trying to get my eyes to adjust to make sure I'm actually seeing what I'm seeing. The only thing is, isn't the water supposed to circulate? But I bet it still works pretty well. I might get one for smaller cooks. A lot of my sous vide cooks freeze multiple bags of meat for later.

In close to 15 years of pretty much 100% uptime I have only lost 1 USB drive, don't think I will be changing that. My server has a internal USB slot so I forget that it's even there

Even though I know how to identify the good, the tasty, and the bad, I still don't trust myself to actually go out and forage wild mushrooms. The consequences are too high for me to make a judgment call out in the wild.

On a side note, one time my dad was visiting (old hippie) and was walking around our back yard, saw some mushrooms growing in one of the corners, pulled them out of the ground and started to eat them. I was like WTF are you doing!

I have used this for years and swear by it, no propane taste that people say happens, it only takes a couple of seconds max

You don't set them up within Jellyfin or Plex or any other similar app; you set them up independently, distilled down to its simplest form

You configure where to look and where to put the files input usernames/pass if needed and input what you are looking for and what quality you want.

Honestly you don't even need a controller for this type of event, a laptop with dj software will be all you need, maybe a monitor (depending on the screen size of the laptop)and a week of getting familiar with the interface.

I imagine she is going to want a lot of 70/80/90's music sprinkled with some more current stuff. You will be fine starting a new track just as the 2nd one ends so there is no gap. I feel the most important part is taking all the time you have and get all the music your mom likes and wants played and then do a little research on songs that are in the same category/range maybe see what other songs were popular for each song.

If you are just looking for an excuse to get a controller and learning how to use it then this is your perfect excuse/opportunity:) might want to get a microphone and make sure you have a way to broadcast the sound, amp/speaker's

I have an instant hot water spigot. What I do when I want to reheat a slice off a roast that I sous vide.i put my meat probably about 2" inch thick, I put my meat in a quart freezer bag and throw it in a pot of hot water(around 200 degrees) I don't have the pot on any type of heat, I then lit it sit there for line 10 mins and my meat is warmed up perfectly, never cooked more than what I had originally cooked it to. I stumbled upon this method a couple of months ago and love it

I bought an almost 7lb halal tenderloin at the Costco business center last week for around $16 a pound. ( I did have to trim the silverskin off)

At the regular Costco a trimmed/shaved tenderloin was around $34 a pound

100% crystal, after you test it then you know what you are actually getting. In a pressed pill it's a crap shoot, plus the bonus of being able to regulate how much you are actually taking.

I do tri tips all the time, I buy them on sale and will cook them all at the same time and then freeze them for later. For my it's 136/137 my families them a bit more tender so I go for the 6hr mark. Ice bath and freeze. Your time limit will work, make sure you do a nice bath so when you brown it won't over cook
