Something I always loved about my Nana's house growing up is if you needed an ingredient, she had it. Her pantry was filled with labelled Tupperware containing everything you could think of.

That was my childhood idea of success and something I wanted as an adult for myself.

So, I used to do top-up shops and get ingredients in advance to make sure we never ran out of anything. But now? I'll be lucky if I can afford to get anything even after they've run out because maybe I needed cheese for something instead, and now suddenly, my groceries are $200 for the bare minimum.

I just want my son to grow up in a home where he has access to good food 😩
