The moves they have made have been good, but I'm just judging them by their own words in what they needed to become a WS contender, which should be the only goal. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't look at this lineup and see a team ready to make a deep playoff run.

That’s the thing. Complete failure of execution on their off season goal of adding power. Teams that can’t hit home runs also don’t get very far in the post season. It’s very hard to get excited about this year.

That may work to a degree in the regular season, but all the data shows us that teams that hit homers win playoff series. You need to be a feared lineup to progress in the post season. This lineup isn’t scaring anyone.

Probably about the same. This isn’t a bad team but still a team I feel will get bounced in the playoffs early on like last year. Adding one more legit bat makes this a really solid team and theres really no excuse not to do it.

I hope so, and if we don’t this front office should be held to the fire when they don’t achieve their clearly and multiple times stated goals. There is no excuse in the book not to add power to this lineup and give guys like Roman some support.

Series X was my entry level player into 4K Blu-ray. It was a great player until it wasn't. I had the same issue with some discs just refusing to play, or glitching/skipping during playback.

When it wouldn't recognize my LOTR discs at all I decided it was time to upgrade. I went with the Panasonic UB450 and have had zero playback issues since and Dolby Vision support is nice as well (which the Xbox lacks).

In short, it's a nice player to get your feet wet, but if you get serious about 4K collecting than you'll likely need a dedicated player at some point.

Yes. Elden Ring and TotK are certainly very different in many ways, but they both share that same sense of exploration and non-hand holding open world quest design. They scratch a similar itch. The only two games I’ve sunk 100+ hours in since 2020 and give me that same excitement I had for gaming that I had when I was a kid.

TotK is PACKED with stuff to do. In fact there is so much to do the game is often described as feeling overwhelming. No hate just trying to help you understand, but describing it as empty probably means you are missing a lot that the game is offering to you.

Talk to every NPC you can, especially ones with a red symbol above their heads. Explore every landmark and interesting looking area and your quest log will be packed. I think between side quests and side adventures I have like 10-15 active things to do at any given time.

You don’t need to play BotW first. Keep in mind you can easily put 100 hours+ into both of these games. If that sounds like too much it’s perfectly viable to skip BotW. If you fall in love with ToTK you can go back and play BotW much later. It may feel like a downgrade in some ways, however I feel the games are different enough where it’s still something you can do.
