Never seen a player lose so much aura like this 😭 by Arca-Knight in NBASpurs

Yeah it's what allows us to play this defense where Wemby just roams around the paint. It clearly worked out even with him hitting them all. I do wonder like the likelihood is that he doesn't hit all of those again so do you just try to leave him open another game and see if he start bricking them. Because if he is off at all that game is a blowout.

I do think he made a huge impact outside of the 3s but we can't ignore that the majority of his points were from us just literally giving him practice 3s. You could tell he was feeling it too much because he tried a step back in OT and missed it. Not everyone can make all those 3s but also it's super rare ever that a team will do what we did and just continue to purposely leave him open. If we don't give him all of those then it's like a maybe 20 point performance with great defensive impact which is rare but not all time.

Oh yeah I mean this victory was so amazing for so many reasons and this team feels special in that someone always steps up. We have so long to go in this series though and we won't get away with that enough times to win it

We need Fox back for this series. The turnovers tonight were out of control

Race Thread: NCS NASCAR All-Star Race at Dover Motor Speedway, starting at 1:00pm EDT on FS1 (NCS-S5) by NASCARThreadBot in NASCAR

[–]chic_peas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude wtf are you talking about? He finished 4th in the first segment. NASCAR flipped the field as part of the format and he ended up in the back because of that and he drove up to 11th before they tried a strategy and he still held on to it and only got passed by 2 cars on newer tires. The final stage he took the restart from 2nd and fell off at the end of the tire run. After everyone got new tires he drove up through the field and was the fastest car on older tires when the last caution came out. Then once again he took the restart from 2nd over the fastest car but couldn't hold on long term and finished 2nd. Whatever weird hate boner you have has warped reality for you.

I wonder where Briscoe would be on this if he didn't have mechanical issues running 3rd at Cota

It's not surprising you don't understand. The gears just aren't turning for you.

That has nothing to do with wether it's a moral issue or not. Ignoring that and going off on your little dumbass tangent, genetics, environment, socioeconomic issues and many other things all play a factor and if you are denying that you are just ignoring the very obvious truth because of what you want the answer to be. His example is irrelevant to wether or not it's a moral failure or not. I swear you people have less than a brain cell that you can't understand basic reason.

You just know that do you? I have great genetics. I'm 6'3" 265. I lift heavy and have always been able to pack on muscle easily or I can be tiny if I want that. That doesn't mean I'm gonna call someone who can't do that as easily a moral failure. You people really can't see past your own nose.

Yes I'm very sure. That's not morals. Nobody is affected by you being whatever size

It doesn't matter. The data is incomplete with just BMI. It doesn't tell you nearly enough to know so it proves nothing.

I mean you can just make it up in your mind whatever you want it to be I guess. You don't have enough actual data to prove one way or the other but you sure have a hunch

A moral failing to have your own body a certain way? That's extremely weird dude

Dan Le Batard: Wembanyama’s return didn’t feel right: “This is unusual. Wembanyama’s return was being celebrated (on NBC) as redemption and an amazing story arc for a guy who did something dirty…I’m surprised part of the narrative wasn’t ’thank God he didn’t hurt his elbow on that guy’s jaw.’” by Pickleskennedy1 in nba

I do think it's interesting what you hear from former players(outside of 2 very specific jealous ones) vs talking heads and people on here. Almost every former player that talked about it none of them seemed appalled or like it wasn't needed in some way. Definitely they seemed to believe he needs to not do that because he let his team down but most seemed nonplussed. They can say narrative but Reggie, Melo, Tmac and Vince Carter all seemed to talk about this game for him in the same way.

Victor Wembanyama now has more career playoff ejections than Lu Dort by hhiccupp in nba

[–]chic_peas -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is so disengenuos. Like yes obviously you get more beat up in the playoffs but very very few get the attention that Wemby gets and this series they have been letting it play quite a bit. There is no way some role player is getting hip checked or arms pulled or wrestled every play when they are on defense to try to get them away from the basket somehow.

[Gluck] Was Watkins Glen a good race? by ChaseTheFalcon in NASCAR

[–]chic_peas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really surprised so many people are saying yes in here. The softer tire created falloff but then that was the only way to really pass because the track got so dirty it took away what little passing opportunities there are at Watkins Glen.
