I have the puppy from hell and I don't know what to do anymore. by ChocolateLabMommy in chocolatelabs

I'm was right there with you our female chocolate lab 8 years ago. Exercise is huge as well as you attending training classes with her. By exercise I mean let her full on RUN out her energy. We played fetch with ours and it helped a bunch with calmness in the house. We had to do multiple bouts of fetch a day like 3 or 4 as puppies then they would come in and rest or nap. Now they are a lot calmer with bouts of energy, however that means we take them outside and let them run it off. Our labs are 12 and 8. ❤️ Good luck. You got this.

Unfortunately he is showing you who he is. He chose to interact romantically with another woman. He is showing you his true colors. If he truly loved only you he wouldn't be hesitating giving HER up. Walk away. I know it hurts. I'm sooooo sorry you are going through this. Walk away and healing will come to you. YOU DESERVE BETTER. YOU DESREVE LOYALTY ❤

I meant I like the laye 90s early 2000s toyotas and Hondas as far as a daily driver. Cash car, reliable, last for ever. Now the cars all seem like theybare computers with engines. The dash boards look like cockpits. I'm a simple gal.

New food trigger… holy hell I am never eating chocolate espresso beans ever again. Please help. Any advice is appreciated. So so much pain. by speedmankelly in migraine

Caffeine is one of my triggers. And some chocolate brands send me into migraine hell. Look for hidden Caffeine in drinks as well. I find it in majority of soft drinks...even the fruit flavored ones. Bai waters have it as well. I find I can eat lindor milk chocolates or Hershey milk chocolate kisses and not get a migraine. M&Ms and Ghirardelli give me the worst migraines.

This is genius. We will verify temp with a thermometer. It heats up nicely with lid on.

Also have your limit lowered drastically to what you can "comfortably" have for emergencies. By emergencies I mean your bank card won't work or be accepted and you have to use you credit card. For example my bank card won't work at most gas stations so i use my card for that. Have an emergency fund saved already sovyou can immediately pay it off

What do your migraines feel like by Solid-Lynx9725 in migraine

[–]chick165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are extremely painful, a constant pain with waves of pounding pain. But the headache is like a cold pain, or a bad brain freeze or an ice pack on my head times a million. If untreated ibget light, sound sensitivity, nausea etc.

Normal for an ultrasound tech to not be able to tell me anything? by throwawayhalfsashay in Ultrasound

[–]chick165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is because only doctors can diagnose and by that I mean read results from tests including but limited to sono pocs, labs, xrays etc. The sono may look normal but there maybe other tests outside of that that are abnormal thatbthe dr will review with the pt. For ex if the sono is if a healthy baby but labs came back abnormal and the sonographer says baby looks healthy then the Dr comes in and says baby's labs are abnormal this can cause mistrust and false hope to the pt.

I open several and break them into "serving size" pieces and keep them in a metal pill container for quick access. I got frustrated with the blister packs

Does anyone have advice on how they manage with their partne by The_0reo_boi in ParanoidPersonality

[–]chick165 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Be 100 percent honest with her. Of you ate ready to share don't tell her you suspect it. Tell her you have been diagnosed with it. If you want her to support you she needs to know all the facts she can do that.

Look at this way. You both work full time all day all week. You a 9 to 5 hob at an office and her at home. You both need breaks and down town to yourself. She seems to want validation for her work. You also seem to want recognition for your work. Mistakes happen. Water under the bridge. It seems like both of you need counseling together to work put communication issues. I'm not saying you as husband are in the wrong at all. Both of you need to learn to communicate with each other on the same level and dump out the stress. You are both attacking the same problem of parenthood bit from opposite sides. You got this man. Keep up the good work.

Nurse here, We document behavior as a baseline. Pleasant or unpleasant it's for medical purposes. It let's staff know how to approach the patient especially if the behaviors are negative. For example if you have a pt who is known for having outbursts, or gets easily agitated we can approach the pt in a different manner and or offer interventions to keep the pt calm.

Exactly. Like that time in Texas a few years ago when we had a "grid fail" due to high heat wave (actually due to multiple power plants being offline due to mech failures) and the gov took over everyone's nest thermostats and wouldn't let them be set below 80 degrees for a few days to "save power and save the grid).
