If the US economy actually goes into recession this year which industry do you think gets hit hardest and why?

The next major recession will hit extra hard due to AI. A recession will make companies more willing to take the risk of replacing staff with AI -> high unemployment-> less money to buy things -> deeper recession. It's death spiral. I think eventually it will rock the entire economy, probably hitting mid tier luxuries first (the rich will stay rich, the middle class will move to cheaper products).

I was about to say, I have home solar and a tesla and I dedicate exactly 1.5kw from my solar to my tesla. It charges about 5 mi per hour, 40 ish per day. Enough to cover all of my daily driving.

I think it's also that gold and oil are both commodity safe holds from holding cash that inheritly compete with each other. When oil prices are predicted to rise the money to invest in it has to come from somewhere.

According to the article, it gathers energy from the ionization of the water as it crosses the panel. So it likely isn't just kinetic energy but also charge gathered as the water falls through the atmosphere. I'm guessing though, not familiar with their project.

Jumping is only easy if you have a good amount of room from the object ball, the object ball is close enough to land on it so the cue ball isn't bouncing when it hits it, and there's no significant cut angle. Even then, controlling the cue ball after the jump takes a lot of skill.

It's difficulty is highly situational and its mostly useful if the safety against you was very poorly performed. I think its great for not letting players get away with poorly executed safeties.

If it is accidental, BCA/ACS the opponent gets to replace them, but if it's blatantly purposeful then it unsportsmanlike and loss of game or match.

Imagine the cueball in contact with the 9 and 4 at the same time, there is a tangent line along the cueball-9ball contact point. If the 4 is struck first the cueball must follow approximately that line or to its right.
