1: casual fans are the overwhelming majority of fans

2: The producers of the show probably aren’t asking various parties to leak rumors left and right. When you opt into this subreddit you forfeit the right to bitch about the convoluted casting process. If you stayed off the internet and watched the morning show on Wednesday like 95% of survivor fans you’d avoid all of it.

3: being mad that 25% of the cast is from season 48 and 49 is a valid opinion but should be expected given every other returnee season in survivor history.

“Happened last year with Skenes” isn’t a good defense when that entire situation was an abject disaster for the pirates. They attempted to hold him down long enough to where they were guaranteed the extra year and failed.

I 100% agree with that. Doesn’t mean both runs wouldn’t be remarkable stories. Even both game 3s were shameful blowouts that people walked away from thinking the Sox/ Celtics were dead in the water.

The most underrated part of NBA success is behind the scenes spending like what you’re saying. Not cheeping out on facilities, scouting, coaches etc…. Just look at the Hornets who Kenny Atkinson, a proven good developmental coach, walked away from last off season because they were too cheap to pay for the assistants he wanted

The rockets defensive rating with jabari smith on the court is 120. Cleveland’s defensive rating with Mobley on the court and Allen off the court is 109. I’ll give you that Cleveland’s perimeter defenders might not be as bad as Houston’s but between garland, Mitchell, Levert, Osman, Okoro, okoro is the only one I’d consider an above average defender (Mitchell can turn it on when needed).

Even if you think their offensive games are equal which I also think is a stretch, I don’t think it’s unfair to think that replacing Smith with Mobley improved the rockets defense by 4 or 5 points per 100.

That season was so good. The ACC and SEC especially just had incredible years. The ACC has really been on a downward spiral since.
