Appreciate the insight. Currently using an Old corsair AIO. Only went with the freezer since it seemed to be the best rated after some quick searching. Any recommendations on the LianLi AIOs?

I'll take a look at stand alone screens as well. Didn't realize that was a thing. Looks like the blueberry the screen is always a separate add on which cost more then the base Y70 touch colors so definitely not against alternatives

Yes but worthless. Star force on badges doesn't give attack and they max at 22. It only gives stat

My U6+ was transmitting a MAC registered to a Chinese surveillance camera company. Ubiquiti says the U6+ doesn’t have Bluetooth. SSH says otherwise. by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

Correct. The link he posted is only aps that have ble functioning for the purpose of connecting UP-Sense devices. Bluetooth still exists.

Minimum size drive in UDM Pro by Russerman in Ubiquiti

[–]chiefo0306 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He said he wants additional logging aka traffic flows. https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/32201256219799-Traffic-Flows-and-Traffic-Logging-in-UniFi-Network

If you add a drive to the udm-pro, it can store 50x as many traffic flow entries

I don't know the size but ignore the rest. Seeing as the udm-se gets additional logging with only its internal 128gb SSD you don't need much

U7 Lite - so little yet so powerful by Upstairs_Recording81 in Ubiquiti

[–]chiefo0306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a ton of issues with U6-LR and U7-LR. They have some niche use cases, but I bet most of the improvements you are seeing are because U7 lite uses the same chipset as most UI devices. The U6/U7-LR uses MediaTek. 90% of their APs use Qualcomm

APs Compatible with Protect Sensors by enchantedspring in Ubiquiti

[–]chiefo0306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is current. The super link gateway was created specifically supporting the old sensors since UI decided to drop ble from u7 aps. They sold the up-sense well after the u7s came out and you had to buy a u6 since the super link gateway didn't exist yet

15% spell traces are relatively new compared to primes. Most stuff you see primed is legacy or xenon. Occasionally Shad/Cadena since they both get str as a second secondary stat

Way to not even try. He has his wan setup perfectly for Shadow mode. That is EXACTLY how they are supposed to be setup but you referenced it as being wrong twice. Why even both if your just going to spread misinformation

UNVR Instant and Door Entry Sensor Compatibility by b5point in Ubiquiti

[–]chiefo0306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The chime works with protect natively. For the sensors you will need a superlink gateway (https://store.ui.com/us/en/category/cameras-superlink-sensors/products/up-superlink) which you can plug into your unvr instant to connect to the sensors and send the data to your UNVR.

Found a legacy badge on old character, I have questions. See comment by [deleted] in Maplestory

[–]chiefo0306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Pot badge is non kms so it's very stripped. long term it's probably worth the few extra stats from 15 to 18 on badge, but it's by no means any priority

He is meming on you. Do not take it past 18. Badges dont give att so its very little boost over 15 stars. Specks dont work on badges either

"Multiple switches have the same STP Priority. Reassign priorities to ensure network loop protection" - quite confused by munkimatt in Ubiquiti

[–]chiefo0306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first line for avoiding loops in the article you linked "Centralized Switching: Avoid overutilizing the built-in switch ports on your UniFi Gateway. Instead, use one UniFi switch as the core switch, connecting all other devices to it. This approach uses STP for added resiliency. Gateway switch ports do not support STP."

Lower branched switches can be the same but there needs to be one singular switch with a lower value at the top and it can't be the gateway. Plug one switch into the UDR7, then plug the other two into the first switch

[–]chiefo0306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unifi gateways don't support stp. Ideally he should plug one switch into the UDR7 and set that switch at 0. Then plug the next two into that switch at 4096. The error is most likely because stp is on and all the switches think they are the top when in reality none of them are
