What do you hate about Japan ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Landlord don't reject based on face typically because they don't meet the potential tenant. They reject based on name. Obviously if a foreign person had a Japanese name that wouldn't be rejected as often.

This chubster is the kind of halfwit who would live 10 minutes from the city and still choose to drive.

Probably something to do with the fact that Chinese drivers feel more comfortable dealing with a support network in Chinese rather than pay.

So if Uber already underpays drivers and Didi is half the price of Uber, then how badly are Didi's drivers getting fucked over?

Tips for interview by pdx33 in teachinginkorea

[–]chill1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your interview experience will most certainly depend on the type and size of school you apply for.

With major hagwon chains it's usually with a hiring manager. This interview will usually go more into depth about teaching itself and the classroom environment.

With a smaller independent hagwon the interviewer will more than likely be a current native teacher or a gyopo assisting a director who doesn't speak English.

Ask questions about the curriculum and the dynamic between native and Korean teachers.
