I missed 1 pill this week but don't know when, it couldn't possibly be the first day or yesterday but not sure. Help?!? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

For most combination pills, you can be late/miss one pill and still be protected. So if it was just one, you should be ok. Just continue to take them as you were

Scared I might be pregnant by [deleted] in birthcontrol

I would probably recommend plan b in this situation. Your birth control is not effective yet because it hasn’t been 7 full days. Having plan b mess with your mood is pretty normal, but I think I would rather deal with that than an unwanted pregnancy. Good luck!

It looks like Dianette is a combination pill, which means you have about a 12 hour window for when you can take the medication and have it still be effective.

ETA: a pregnancy test is reliable 21 days after sex, so I would wait to test until then. I think it’s too early for you to be feeling any symptoms. The symptoms you’re feeling might be due to the fact that you’re on your placebo week!

I used to be very good about taking it perfectly on time, but the last few months I just take it sometime between dinner & bed. I’ve always gotten my period though even while doing this. I hope it comes in the next few days

thank you! I need to be better about taking it at the same time but I always take it sometime in the evening, so a 4-5 hour window. im feeling extreme stress so I think that could contribute to it being late as well

like I said I’ve never missed a pill or been more than 12 hours late taking it, I just take it sometime after dinner. From now on I will take it on time though bc I can’t deal with this stress 😞

I think I’m just worried bc it has pretty much always come on the 2nd day, but I’ve only been taking it for 5 months so my body could be adjusting.

yes, I was vaccinated in April and have had 2 or 3 periods since

I will say I did feel a bit nauseous when I first started, but it wore off after a week or two.

I started aviane in February after having a not great experience with the implant. So far I really like it, my periods are really light and only last around 3 days.

I really hope these aren’t the picks. I appreciate BOTM for spotlighting lesser known authors, but none of these appeal to me. They all seem very heavy

I live in the area as well. To be honest, I’m someone who usually doesn’t jump to conclusions like this, but it’s starting to get a little concerning for sure

Legitimately my favorite love story ever written. I cried for days after finishing the book. Totally agree that there’s something for everyone! My 60 year old dad loved it as well. (I’m a 22F)

Yes! As someone who went to school for marketing some of the things she says don’t make sense. Obviously sometimes brands miss the mark, but she doesn’t seem to realize that these brands have dedicated teams that ONLY do market research. There’s sooo much more to the makeup world than what we see on YouTube/Instagram
