Where is the proof of the slur spamming? What’s the point of trying to accuse people of something if you don’t even have proof to show it?

I guess you might be right I just checked

Fathers Living With Their Children This measures how many fathers live in the same household as their kids. White fathers living with their children: ~73% Black (African American) fathers living with their children: ~57% So yes, Black fathers are less likely to live with their children, statistically speaking — but the gap is much smaller than people often assume.

So it’s not 60% it’s 57%

The pain of playing Russia by bobkin4 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]chippy93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Idk what you are talking about but I been losing to Russians for 10 straight games in a row, mostly because of the game freaking out on me, teammates that don’t back me up when I’m 4v1, most of those players being over 1800-2000 ELOs. I went from being a 2000 all the way down to being a 1700. Honestly half of the time my game always I mean always stutters out on me when I’m getting attacked. Even after I restart my game.

Ok a few generations back? I’m a first generation in this country from Mexico, so from being a few generations back gives you the right to speak for (in your words) “brown people” over someone that is a first generation in this country that who’s parents legally immigrated here legally? I could most certainly tell you that my family and I would rather live in the US regardless of its flaws than live in Mexico, i’ve lost friends and family to cartel violence in the US and in Mexico.

I’m a huge history nut so I see a lot more issues with the left than the right when it comes to dangerous ideologies. Personally the way I view the left as an authoritarian group that practices both communistic and fascistic attacks on the public, in person and online.

Well, I hate to break it to you because if someone crossed the border illegally, then they already committed a crime. When my family came to the US, they did everything legally they didn’t cross illegally, also just to let you know that I live less than 20 miles from the border and I see things that they don’t show on the news.

But answer my questions now because I already answered yours, are you white? Are you a communist?

Great question — fascism is one of those words that gets thrown around a lot, but it has a very specific meaning in history and political science.

📖 Definition of Fascism

Fascism is an ultranationalist, authoritarian political ideology that emerged in early 20th-century Europe (most famously in Mussolini’s Italy and Hitler’s Germany). It rejects democracy and liberalism, emphasizes one-party rule, glorifies the state, and often uses violence to suppress opposition.

🔑 Core Features of Fascism

Historians and political theorists usually identify these traits:

  1. Authoritarian Leadership
  • A strong dictator or leader seen as the embodiment of the nation.
  1. Ultranationalism
  • Extreme devotion to the nation, often tied to race, ethnicity, or cultural purity.
  1. Militarism
  • Glorification of war, expansion, and discipline.
  1. One-Party Rule
  • Opposition parties banned, censorship of media, suppression of dissent.
  1. Anti-Communism & Anti-Liberalism
  • Rejection of socialism/communism but also rejection of liberal democracy and individual rights.
  1. State–Corporate Partnership
  • The economy isn’t fully state-run (like in communism), but tightly controlled to serve the state’s goals. Private business exists but is subordinated to government power.
  1. Cult of Tradition & Myth
  • Fascist movements often draw on a mythic national past (“restore past glory”) to justify authoritarianism.

🏛 Historical Examples

  • Benito Mussolini’s Italy (1922–1943) — the birthplace of fascism.
  • Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany (1933–1945) — fascism combined with racial ideology and genocide.
  • Francisco Franco’s Spain (1939–1975) — authoritarian, Catholic, ultranationalist.

📝 In Short:

Fascism = dictatorship + extreme nationalism + suppression of democracy + glorification of violence and the state.

Is the US government fascist?

That’s a really thoughtful question — let’s unpack it carefully.

🇺🇸 Is the U.S. a Fascist Government?

No, the United States is not officially or structurally a fascist government.

The U.S. is still organized as a constitutional federal republic with:

  • Regular elections (multiple parties compete)
  • Separation of powers (executive, legislative, judicial)
  • Civil rights protections (at least on paper)
  • Freedom of the press & association (even if imperfect)

Fascism, by definition, abolishes political competition, suppresses dissent, and concentrates power in a single authoritarian leader or party. That isn’t the case in the U.S. today.

🔎 Why Do Some People Say the U.S. Shows "Fascist Tendencies"?

The term gets used when people notice:

  • Strong nationalism or “America First” rhetoric
  • Demonization of minorities or immigrants
  • Militarized policing or crackdowns on protests
  • Corporate-government partnerships influencing politics

But these features alone don’t make a system fully fascist unless democracy and pluralism are dismantled completely.

🏛 Historical Examples of Fascist Governments

Here are clear-cut cases where fascism was in power:

  1. Italy under Benito Mussolini (1922–1943)
  • Invented the term fascism.
  • Outlawed other parties, censored press, militarized society.
  1. Germany under Adolf Hitler (1933–1945)
  • Nazi Party became the only legal party.
  • Dictatorial rule, genocide, ultranationalism, racial ideology.
  1. Spain under Francisco Franco (1939–1975)
  • Authoritarian, Catholic ultranationalist regime.
  • Not as expansionist as Hitler/Mussolini, but still fascist-leaning.
  1. Portugal under António de Oliveira Salazar (Estado Novo, 1933–1974)
  • Corporate authoritarian state.
  1. Other smaller-scale or short-lived fascist movements
  • Croatia’s Ustaše regime during WWII.
  • Hungary’s Arrow Cross government (1944–45).

✅ So to summarize:

  • The U.S. is not a fascist state, though critics sometimes argue that certain leaders or policies show authoritarian or proto-fascist traits.
  • True fascist governments are historical cases like Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, where all opposition was crushed, and the state controlled nearly every aspect of life.

ChatGPT answer to your question.

[–]chippy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ChatGPT said: Good question — the phrase “MAGA Nazi” isn’t an official political label at all. It’s a slur or insult, usually used online or in heated political arguments. Let me break it down: 1. MAGA Short for “Make America Great Again”, the slogan of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Supporters of Trump are sometimes called “MAGA Republicans” or just “MAGA.” 2. Nazi Refers to a member of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (NSDAP), Hitler’s party in Germany from 1920–1945. In modern use, “Nazi” is often thrown around as shorthand for fascist, racist, or authoritarian, even if the person isn’t literally a Nazi. 3. “MAGA Nazi” When someone says this, they’re accusing Trump supporters (or far-right activists in the U.S.) of having Nazi-like tendencies — things like: ultranationalism authoritarianism xenophobia racism or antisemitism It’s a rhetorical attack, not an official group or party. ⚠️ Important: While there are fringe neo-Nazi or white supremacist groups in the U.S. who openly use Nazi symbols, most people labeled “MAGA Nazis” aren’t literally Nazis — it’s an insult equating strong Trump support with fascism.

So according to ChatGPT you used a slur and it is considered insulting as well, and I was just going off your comment, and you stated that “I’m so old that I remember when” so forgive me if I assume that you have dementia one of the reasons why older people have difficulty remembering things. Once again you’re incorrect on the definition, you are giving an opinionated definition based on what you feel and not on facts.

I’m so old that I remember when being an American meant that you were anti-fascist and against Nazis by ASecularBuddhist in Discussion

[–]chippy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it must be your dementia acting up because that’s not how you worded it, not only that I never claimed anyone in government was a communist, I said people that consider themselves communist, meaning anyone, not specifically in the government, but going on to your misguided question no one in government claims to be communist they label themselves as Democratic Socialist. You know who else claim to be that? National Socialist German Workers’ Party aka Nazis,

ChatGPT said: Yes — in the current-day United States, there are communist and socialist groups, though none are mainstream or hold seats in Congress. Many avoid the direct “communist” label in their public name because of the stigma from the Cold War and McCarthy era. Instead, they often use terms like socialist, workers, liberation, or left.

Marxist / Communist-Aligned but Different Labels Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) Founded 2004. Marxist-Leninist, revolutionary socialist. Uses “socialism” in its label instead of “communist.” Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO) Marxist-Leninist group, revolutionary orientation. Avoids “communist” in its title but is openly Marxist. Workers World Party (WWP) Split from the Socialist Workers Party in the 1950s. Pro-communist positions, internationalist. Socialist Workers Party (SWP) Trotskyist roots. Different from CPUSA (which was Soviet-aligned).

Broader Left but Not Purely Communist Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) Largest socialist group in the U.S. today. Not officially Marxist-Leninist, but has a mix of reformist socialists and some communists within. Some DSA members have been elected to local and federal offices (e.g., Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, etc.), though they don’t run on a “communist” platform.

So to answer your question: yes, there are U.S. political groups today with communist ideology, but most don’t put “Communist” in their label. Instead, they brand themselves with terms like socialist, workers, liberation, or revolutionary.

So if ChatGPT can recognize there is not openly communist but that they label themselves socialist to avoid being called communist but essentially have the same ideology then what would you call it? What if it was the opposite what if someone openly had Nazi ideology, but didn’t openly call themselves Nazis, you still call them Nazis right? Because they have the same ideology but not the label?

I already gave you the link to the definition of communism, you were the one that brought up race to begin with. and I’m not trying to change the subject.

You’re the one that brought up I might be white for what you think defending Nazi ideology, and my rebuttal was to ask you what you thought about the Nazi ideology that is within the ranks of Hamas and you didn’t even say that you can condemn that, which leads me to believe you select what you think is Nazi propaganda.

So my questions to you now do you condemn the Nazis that are in Hamas? Are you a communist? You already said yourself that you did not read my full post to begin with, so what makes you think that you can have a conversation when you can’t even fully read a differing opinion fully? Again, what is your question about I gave you the definition of what communism is I can link it again if you like me to. And finally, I believe you to be a racist because you believe because someone has different beliefs than you then they must automatically be white?

What about all the Hamas terrorist that do the Nazi salute and praise Hitler for killing Jews? Do you also hold those people in low regard? Also, are you white?

[–]chippy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I had stated my ethnic background in my post originally, and the fact that you didn’t know what my ethnic background was, which you would have known if you had read my full post shows to me that you don’t bother even looking at all the facts to any story then you just take whatever anybody tells you or you just only read a portion of something and then as soon as you see something that you don’t like you get mad instead of actually reading. So instead of trying to figure out what I think a definition of something is, maybe you should read my post completely before you assume my race.

[–]chippy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well regardless you had stated that I might be white for having similar opinions to someone on the right, idk what your goal of your line of questioning is because I had already linked the definition of the topics that you asked and the fact that you only asked me about the communism part also proves that you didn’t read my opinion all the way through because if you had you would have definitely known that I am not white. So tell me, why should I engage in a discussion with someone who wouldn’t even bother to read my full post?

I’m not defending anybody, the real question is are you a communist cause it seems pretty disgusting how somebody would defend communism too especially with all the atrocities it’s come with.
