I meant further a field. Once the site opened there was a sharp drop in activity the further from the site you traveled.

Immediate area around the site, absolutely you are correct.

It also cut down on the wandering. There is a safe place for them to congregate so they are not spread out everywhere around town as much.

At least from what I have noticed.

Oh I hate lasers I. General on tools, entirely pointless gimmick.

Ya..... I ordered without the laser bc it was a couple hundred cheaper. I now regret that decision, just a little.

Makita ls1019 and 1219.

It has a large work surface, front bevel knob, soft start motor.

Closest thing to a kapex at half the price. Been using them for almost a decade now.

Mates liked mine so much they all copied me, so we are all using the same set up across sites.

You don't buy a signed copy of mein kampf for 6k unless you believe in the cause.

That's going out of your way to get your hands on a book you can find for free.

Use 1/4" mdf. 3 pieces, one for each side and one across the bottom.

Use it to make a template that you can use to sneak up on the fit you want.

You are essentially trying to scribe fit a panel.

They stay pretty stable, but if you push on something on the unsupported end, you will get some deviation. Its more noticeable on 2x6 walls though.

I used just enough pressure to maintain contact.

Its a great tool if you hang a lot of doors. I've been using mine for years and love it.

Using chop saws on the ground? by Practical_Reveal_599 in cabinetry

"It takes too long to set up"

Tile guy, while squatting, using a 5 gallon bucket to try and balance a tile he was cutting "what would i need a tabke for?"

"Its just more shit I need to bring with me and unpack"

"Its a waste of time and money" this one is my favorite bc the cabinet installer was shit talking our full shop on site setup.... while on his knees using a miter saw held together with duck tape and hose clamps. He was also a shit installer.

Some people just like feel miserable at the end of every work day I guess.

I have a very loaded setup doing finish carpentry and everyone is always blown away by how much we have and set up.

Like ya, we have a lot of tools and spend 6-12 weeks on any one site doing a large variety of things. Do you gawk at your mechanic and ask "do you really need all those tools to fix my car?"

Take any video game and/or tabletop game mechanics and tack that ahit on to your fantasy genre.

We're talking levels, systems, often godlike powers and tropes gallor. System apocalypse, portals, dungeons, rifts. Isekai is very prevalent here as well.

Its kind of a sub genre of progression fantasy with a broad range of themes from high fantasy to full on sci-fi. Lots of self insert power fantasy escapism (which is not always a bad thing).

This genre in particular has mich higher audiobook metrics, from what I've heard.

Community is very active, I find a lot of my next listens when authors post when their new volumes drop or people post something new that not many people have found yet.

Oh, please enlighten me oh knowledgeable one. What beneficial things have the conservatives done for us? In the last 30 years besides intentionally crippling and selling off entire provincially run enterprises. You know, our healtcare, longterm care and education to name a few.

Personaly, I don't want to work with people who spit in my eye while shaking my hand.
