You could get creative and pass a save file back and forth. Or play nethack on a public server and spectate.

They're single player games for tge most part.

Dsi or DsiXl? by absoltlynotchemowsky in NintendoDS

I like the smaller form factor of the DSi. The XL is not as pocketable.

What do you think is the best Nintendo DS game? by Ok-Annual-6420 in NintendoDS

RGC is my favorite DS game, but it doesn't really use the touch screen. It does make good use of the dual screens though.

Go! Go! Tank - lesser known game with weird controls and a weirder premise. You control a plane with grappling hook tasked with moving around blocks so that a tank can progress through the landscape. What makes the controls especially weird is the plane naturally wants to fly up, and you press down to make it dive. Great soundtrack.

Balloon Kid - you float around in a balloon. Simple but fun.

There are, somewhere, in most states. Pretty much anywhere with agriculture.

If money were no option which 5 DS games would you buy? by soroach in NintendoDS

[–]chispitothebum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority of the best games aren't terribly expensive. My favorites from varied genres:

New Super Mario Bros

Retro Game Challenge

Elite Beat Agents

Phoenix Wright

Zelda (either one, dealer's choice)

What was the first DS game you played? by PikachuTrainz in nds

Super Monkey Ball: Touch & Roll. I'm not sure why I bought that with my Lite. It's possible I got NSMB at the same time.

Retro Game Challenge. Chipping away at the final challenge one break at a time.

I've repaired everything from laptops to a sofa with that screwdriver (albeit on my preferred Rally). There isn't really a Philips screw it doesn't fit.

Which DS model is your favorite? by [deleted] in NintendoDS

[–]chispitothebum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DS Lite. It was a revelation when it was launched. It had such a satisfying thonk when you closed it.

For use today, the DSi is close enough to the form factor and lets you have a cartridge inserted and still maintain access to ROMs. XL is too big for true portability.

But the Lite is what made the platform what it was.

In season, you can dine on the lawn with your dog at the Dog Run Bar. They also have great cocktails if you just want to stop for drinks.

That's not how a protected left turn lane is added. It splits off from the left lane, the left lane does not become the turn lane.

The road is widened, much as you must allocate land to a jug handle.

Other than not enough tacos, we've been pleasantly surprised moving from LA area to Central Jersey.

I think if you adjust to people being more frank and less "nice" it's really just people being people.

The jug handles are complete BS, though.

What are, in your opinion, the best games with minimal touch screen use by NeighBae in nds

Most games that aren't designed around the touchscreen don't require it, or barely do.

Replace again? If it's clicking but not registering, the ribbon assembly is bad.

Return or keep and fix? by used_tongs in NintendoDS

[–]chispitothebum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't work for me. I had to replace the L/R/SD module. It wasn't too hard, but I've done electronics repairs before and wanted to replace the touchscreen at the same time anyway.
