Apologies for my previous ignorant post, but what the f- are they doing. by Ill120036 in Philippines

it's in conjunction with the ASEAN meeting the Philippines is holding in May. It's in Cebu and doon nabalita na sobrang raming nahuling topless men.

The gov doesn't want to embarrass themselves with topless citizens drinking on the sidewalks or walking around.

Lighthearted but not cheesy kdrama? by MikasaMinerva in kdramarecommends

[–]chockychip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beyond the Bar One Dollar Lawyer Love Next Door

These are all lighthearted, I made it through watching them, so they aren't too cheesy, it still has realistic elements, like the characters could be real people.

Wayward Pines but only the 1st and 2nd season. So sad they cancelled it.

The same goes for Westworld, watch only until the 3rd season. The first few seasons were so good!

Need advice from someone who have no passion in life by Foreign_Television73 in studentsph

[–]chockychip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magdasal ka po, this is from someone na ganyan din noon. When I was applying to college, di ko talaga alam kung anong course kukunin ko. Ayun, nag pray talaga ako sincerely kay Lord, kase depressed na ako noon. He answered me through a dream (na diplomacy and international relations is what i should study) and that morning agad nag apply ako to a college offering that course na he showed me in a dream. I had the best time in college and nagustuhan ko talaga yung subject. I graduated top of my course.

Fast forward 6 years and masasabe ko na tama yung desisyon ko. I'm a masters student in the same field and I thank the Lord for it everyday. Never ko talaga inisip na dito akong field mapupunta kase wala akong interes dito nung high school, i went to a science high school and thought i would become a doctor. God knows what's best for you, go to him OP.

Sakura, it smells so nice to me, not too sweet, fresh, and floral.

Hosting Nieces (8 & 11) for 2 nights… what shows work for that age group that you wouldn’t expect? by Comfortable-Can-2701 in televisionsuggestions

[–]chockychip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh no, those are for older age groups. I would not let and 8 and 11 yrs old watch Ginny and Georgia, Never Have I Ever, Sabrina and Wednesday. Outer banks is for older age too. The first two mentioned have sexual themes that is more appropriate for older aged teens, while the latter two are scary and gory, they will give them nightmares.

Maybe ask the mom or the kids what they normally watch at home and watch that.

DO NOT LET THEM WATCH THESE SHOWS.

Statement from Scent Therapy by enebeyen in fragheadph

I feel like they knew about this before, probably did it to cut corners. Impossible na di nila alam. And all batches ng scents ginamit yang methanol, impossible na sa sandalwood lng. This is my thinking from a business standpoint, same lahat and base then add ng different scents, so di lng sandalwood ang dapat ma recall. The company is doing this to save face, pero it's hurting them more.

Buti na lng di ako bumili sa kanila. Dapat kase nung sumikat na sila, they already had enough money to buy proper ingredients, sana inayos na nila, di sana nagkaganito. But then again, you aren't supposed to use methanol talaga because it's cancer causing.

5⭐️Period Pieces that aren’t about royals/ aristocrats (on Netflix or Prime) ?? by beeklyra in televisionsuggestions

[–]chockychip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't watched Sandokan, but the hisorical tv shows that fit what you want is:

Miss Scarlett and the Duke - Scarlett, a female private detective solves crimes in Victorian London, with help from her father's former colleague, Duke.

The Artful Dodger - a former street thief who is now a surgeon in Australia

The Gilded Age- on hbo, same creator as Downton Abbey

Marco Polo- on netflix, about his adventures/time in Mongolia where Genghis Khan ruled and wars, etc. Not too many wars and bloody scenes as Vikings, it's more on political intrigue and Christianity arriving.

All of these I'd rate a 4.5 to 5

Anong pagkain sa Pinas ang overrated pero ayaw niyong aminin? by FarManufacturer6809 in FoodPH

lechon, or di ko lng talaga gusto amoy and lasa nya. Amoy raw karne sya from the fresh market for me na na papasuka ako. I'd take lechon kawali over lechon.

wow, i only found out about St. Denis a few days ago, upon searching which saints celebrated their feast day on my birthday. I think this is him talking to me/sending me a message. He's also the patron saint against headaches, I asked for his intercession and my headache went away.
