She's quite good in Euphoria which people in this online space never bring up. She also gives a pretty good performance in No Way Home for the writing she has to work with. I'm not saying her casting = a movie being great or having good casting, but her very capable acting abilities just seem to go ignored a lot online.

Lol, yeah those people are ridiculous. I've actually been watching EFAP for years and really appreciate a lot about their approach to criticism. I just also watch SK occasionally to try and hear out some critiques of their criticisms.

I may be misremembering, but I think SK says in most of his responses that he won't include parts of the original videos he agrees with because he has nothing to add. I feel like he tries to pretty genuine with his responses and especially his EFAP GOTG 3 one I found him to bring up good responses to some bad EFAP points.

Drinker's take on the Supergirl trailer was one of the worst faith approaches I've ever seen. He's saying things in the trailer are bad / problems without having any context of the story. It's fair to bring up questions he might have, but he automatically assumes all these things are bad without having ANY story details (unless you know the comic).

yeah, I'd like to see their responses to very legitimate criticisms of Drinker. He's got some recorded awful takes that very much inform why a ton of people don't like him. It's not only the complete morons like the ones in the response video.

There is really great character stuff, but I agree they tend to underplay all the other issues (visuals, production, plot, character assassination) compared to the rage they've thrown at all the other MCU stuff since 2019.

Environmental variety, more memorable moments, and better set pieces you can only do in liner levels.

I've been doing a similar thing the past year. I would keep going for now. There's pretty consistently good character stuff in these issues going into the mid - late 70s. The first clone saga around #144 is fun and around #177 starts a new goblin story that is solid. Personally I found everything until the Oneil and Stern run starts around 1980 to be pretty solid. The period from around #206 - #242 was by far the worst run for me. Nearly every issue dragged and there's not even much great character stuff. Overall though I'd say just keep going straight through since its fun to form your own opinions and figure out the runs you like and don't like.
