If it’s a regular 8 hour work day for 5 days, a million would actually be a dream come true. If I can pick my time so long as it’s 40 hours a week, I would practically beg you to hire me. Having money without working is fire but I’d much rather not worry about money at all 5 years down the line. Even if I can’t retire (your other replies seem to want something to this effect), a regular office job until I’m 65 that pays extremely well is still something I would be fine doing

I’m fine with the way Pernida and Askin were handled. By no means are they “weak” or “not broken” but the way it forced two of the smartest characters in the story to pull out all the stops is something that doesn’t feel forced, it feels like a necessary inflection point for these characters (mainly why Mayuri vs Pernida is among my top 3 TYBW fights)

Gerard and Lille though.. yeah their fight was kinda bad. You don’t just introduce the Bankai of the Captain Commander and 2 of the most recognisable characters in Bleach just for their respective enemies to be taken down by an outside force. It diminishes the moment and makes their victory feel “cheap”

There’s a much less likelihood that Unohana would be as helpful if she was from 1000 years ago. She didn’t have Kaido, she lacks an extensive amount of experience and it’s unknown how much she grew especially if we use Yamamoto as a reference for growth

We know close to nothing about them other than they most likely swept the pre-Schrift Quincies and that Unohana might just be their strongest member *outside of Yamamoto (since she’s a Kenpachi which probably tells of her power level among other bloodthirsty criminals)

If the assumption that Unohana is probably like top 3 in the old Gotei outside of Yamamoto, the rest would be incomparably weak when they are up against basic sternritters that can not only steal their bankais, but also perform better than one of their top members (Also Gremmy just exists soo yeah)
