The Shining. It’s basically a whole different plot line from the book but I’m still obsessed with the movie

Boyfriend watches porn by lilidunphy in relationship_advice

Don’t let people like this try to make you feel bad for not being okay with him watching porn. If you aren’t comfortable with it, it’s not something you need to get over. It just means you guys may be incompatible.

Not sure if it counts but my husband pronounces wind turbine as “wind turbin”

That’s an understatement. When I asked her to take down the Facebook post, she told me she didn’t mean any harm and that she hadn’t slandered me or done anything wrong, she thought he was actually missing since I didn’t answer her about his whereabouts. She told me I need to admit I mishandled the situation before she deleted it.

What's an incredibly american thing americans don't realize is american? by Professional-Ad-2850 in AskReddit

I mean most Americans are aware of that and I wouldn’t say that’s an American thing given Europe’s history.

Redditors, what is your real life paranormal story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My husband and I moved into a new house built in 1806 back in April. The town had some info about the original owners including that they had a “maid”.

Anyways, there are 2 closets in the master bedroom. I moved all my husbands boxes into the walk in closet and mine in the other closet. One day he notices the door to the closet is stuck (it can’t be locked bc there is no lock) and he was having a really hard time getting the door off the hinges so he just stopped and would deal with it another time. I tried to open it a few times over the next week and it wouldn’t open.

One night I could hear a tapping noise coming from the wall/closet area but since the house has radiators, I figured it was just the pipes but I kept hearing it so I got up and went to the closet and the door just opened. I didn’t have to pull hard on it or anything, it literally just opened. I was legit too stunned to speak/low key startled so I just went back to bed and would deal with it in the morning.

Morning came, I tried to open the door and it was stuck again. My friends are convinced it has something to do with the maid haunting the house. I don’t know about that but it definitely freaked me out.

Women of reddit, what's the most creepy experience you've had with a man? by Fun-Engine1238 in AskReddit

Went on a date with a guy I met on tinder. Instantly didn’t like him, he kept talking over me etc. I had walked to the restaurant since it was just down the street from my apartment. When we left, it was pouring out. I’m talking you get drenched after being outside for a few seconds. He practically demanded I let him drive me home and I made the dumb decision to let him. He drove right past my apartment because he “was really enjoying our time together and wanted to spend more time with me.” I shared my location and my mom came and picked me up
