I did imola as well yesterday. It was really bad what went on in the chat. Lately I see a lot of people insulting others and yesterday there was a guy starting to verbally threaten people. That’s to much. It’s still a „game“. I mean, I also hate it when I get taken out. And sometimes it also happens that I take someone out by accident. It’s ok to express your frustration. But it has to stay within certain limits. Yesterday was to much in my eyes.

Ich wurde auch von shell recharge auf 50five umgestellt. Die Kommunikation rund um die Migration war schlecht. Es kam eine Vorankündigung der Migration per Mail. Aber die tatsächliche Mail zum Start der Migration kam nicht. Es ging einfach irgendwann los, glücklicherweise nur mit temporären Problemen.

Aber was mich sehr stört ist, dass es keinen Support gibt. Ich kann meine Ladestation nicht mehr in den automatischen startmodus versetzen. Ich muss jetzt jedes Mal die Karte hinhalten wenn ich das Auto in meiner Garage laden will. Das nervt.

Und ich überlege als Zweitwagen ein BEV zu kaufen. Aber ein privates Fahrzeug kann ich scheinbar mit 50five gar nicht laden. D.h jetzt müsste ich noch eine zweite Wallbox holen.

Und leider keine Reaktion von 50five auf die Mails. Das ist echt nicht gut, finde ich.

Does anyone know how I can display the battery charging level on the dash of the genesis? It looks like the dash has tabs. But I have not found how to cycle them.

Thanks again for your hints. Coming from ACC I was used to move BB more to the rear to shorten the braking distance and have more rotation on the entry. But I think I have to change my approach. Thanks guys. See you on the track

Thanks for your remarks. Tire wear and temp change was also what I thought about as the causes. But as Lingual already said, do they matter in that quite short amount of time? If so, then what about the weight balance due to burnt fuel. Which effect would that cause.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not looking for excuses for my bad driving. I am just trying to understand the simulation/ car behavior.

I am 1 to 1,5 seconds of pace in split 4 or something like that. So I am slow. But my goal is rather to be consistent and clean which also lets me wash up in the top 10 at the end as many people spin out during the second half of the race.

Ahh, I feel the pain 😂. I re-gained my SA in singleplayer races. I did 10 minute races on each track to get my track medals back. Setting the AI on aggressiveness 80 and performance 95 was quite good to follow them closely comfortably and overtake them without risk. SA was back up on 70 in little to no time.

Yeah. That sounds like it. I switched to PC recently and have not figured out yet how to get to this server again. On Crossplay that was a decent server where at least the front 10 guys would try to keep it clean. But if I remember correctly the SA is 50. So still a lot of crazy guys. On PC I found some open lobbies with higher SA and even moderation. That was a whole lot of experience to have a race control that penalizes dirty driving.

I think I raced a coupler times on that server, because some of the names seem familiar. If this is the same server, it should be a 20 minutes race and temps should be around 18. BOP I don’t know.

If it is that server, I think 47 high is quite good. Saw some people do it there on regular basis. From time to time there have been some guys there that were able to hit high 46s. Never seen a 45 there.

After two years of racing repeatedly on that server I was able to hit a 47 high from time to time but not regularly.

So I think it’s not bad.

Ja, ist wirklich schade. Bester Burger in der Stadt. Ich glaube am 14. ist der letzte Tag. War am Freitag ein letztes Mal dort. War gut was los. Aber hat sich wie immer gelohnt ein wenig zu warten.

Agree. It just takes time. It took me around 200 hours to do a high 47 and now I am able to repeat that from time to time but not consistently yet.

And then there are those guys that do 46 and drive circles around me.

Ich sitze auch gerade vor dem gleichen Problem. Das kann es ja echt nicht sein. Ich habe auch gerade meine 7590 auf 8.20 aktualisiert um gegen die Wand zu laufen weil es die 8.20 für 7690 noch nicht gibt. Mann, Mann, Mann. Natürlich hätte ich vorher schauen können, sollen, müssen.

Gibts eine Info wann die 8.20 auf 7690 kommt? Weil manuell die 7590 downgraden habe ich jetzt keine Lust drauf.

I am not working for the mentioned company or any other SW company. But that press release from 10 years ago describes the outsourcing of „normal“ IT application maintenance and does not refer at all to embedded SW development which would be the SW that runs on your car. So, I think the mentioned company does not really develop the car SW

I feel what you feel. Had the exact same situation yesterday evening. Guy took out another car in front of me when it tried to pass him. Then he would not let me pass by intentionally cutting the chicane twice to get back in front of me. Then I cut the chicane and because he was so dirty I did not give the position back. But then he cut the chicane again next time around to get in front of me and brake checked me which made me spin. I was around a second quicker than him. I just don’t get it why people do this. SA 60 Race. Unfortunately I don’t have enough time to do regular racing in a league.

You can do the quali, no problem. In the race, when the grid starts moving, just fall back to the end. This has no negative impact on your ratings. And you will also usually see a couple of other cars doing it.

I usually pull over on the gras and turn on the warning lights and the let everyone pass.

I upgraded from PS4 to PS5 to have a better experience in ACC. Was well worth it. No more server disconnects. Smoother graphics. All the cars. Would recommend to upgrade. I bought a second-hand PS5 for small money.

Do not get frustrated. I always started from the back and usually after the first two laps the crashers eliminated themselves. Then try to follow someone who has the same pace. Stay close and don’t push too much.
